Would You Ever Pet a Platypus? (God's Funniest Animals)

These books are fantastic. My 8 month old will crawl over to them and "read" the book on her own - flip pages and feel each one. We've read together daily since she was born, but these are the first ones that she wanted to play with on her own. Her very favorite is Never Touch a Dragon, but the Platypus one holds her attention too and I love that I mentions God's Creatures. I gifted one of these books to our friend's newborn son and his 6 year old sister "stole" it, so there is a wide age range, so love that my baby can grow with them. Great for older siblings to read to little ones!

Fun to touch and feel, but also see God's creativeness. The pictures are cute too. Fun for kids and adults alike to enjoy together.

My 5 month old daughter is really into touch and feel books right now and my mom got her the dragon version of this book. They are both adorable and she loves to touch each page and listen to the story. Great to get her even more involved in reading and adds that sensory aspect to story time as well. We love these books!!!

My baby loves these texture books! And so do we! The rhymes are clever and cute. However, this book starts with a narwhal instead of the platypus on the cover. Just a quirk we noticed! :)

What a delightful book for my daughter! It shares fun and adorable animals each with textures on them. A different reviewer was upset that it had the word "God" all over the book...to which I say good for the creators of this book! These animals are all God's creatures! However God is only mentioned in the title and exactly one time within the pages of the book. This book has a very positive message and I would recommend it to everyone who has young kids.
