Works . . .
I have an RTR TF2 from RC4WD that came with a nicad battery, set up with the Tamiya connector. I use this adapter to hook up a lipo with t-slot deans connector I got from Sheldon’s in San Jose. Works well as I did not wanna cut up/modify any wiring yet.

Large Tamiya not mini.
I needed mini Tamiya and this is standard large rc Tamiya, my fault but in my defense my search in Amazon included the word mini and this came up as one of many options. It seems solid, but for me it's useless.
