Vollrath 47946 Bright Mirror Finish S/S Economy 16 Quart Mixing Bowl

I use this bowl when I am doubling and sometime quadrupling cookie recipes. I always have more than enough room for flour and sugar and oatmeal and everything else under the sun. It is easy to clean and stays pretty shiny with use. If you are making bread or meatballs or anything that requires a lot of ingredients, you will love using this bowl. It has the capacity to handle whatever you can think of.

FINALLY!!! I have a bowl that is like the ones my mom and grandmother used to have in the kitchen that my eldest sister got but i didn't - WAHOO!!!! So giddy and i LOVE it!!!

Working a lot in the kitchen, baking or cooking huge batches of food, it can be daunting to only have limited size bowls. I have been wanting a stainless steel bowl to be able to hold large quantities of food. This bowl does the trick! I really have enjoyed using it, though it does have to be hand washed. (It is so large it covers one half of my double sink) I have made gingerbread dough (doubled recipe); I look forward to continue to use it for a long time!

This bowl is very nice. Super smooth interior. Heavy enough for home use. Fits in our lower cabinet that we use for baking stuff. Big enough to kneed the dough within the bowl..

I bought the 16qt bowl. It's durable, cleans well, arrived undamaged, and is altogether a great product for the price. However, I underestimated how large 16qts is. The bowl just barely fits in my fridge or my largest cabinet, and is generally overkill for a lot of home kitchen tasks. If you are looking for a large mixing bowl, I would recommend the 13qt version instead, especially if you are in a cramped kitchen environment like myself.

I have two of them now. I use them for all kinds of big jobs. Making caramel corn, mixing soil for seed blocks, washing dishes, even taking a sitz bath in one of them. Nice and light weight. Excellent value. Everyone needs at least ONE big bowl around the house!

Nice product but too pricey. I found another one, same brand etc for 1/4th what I paid for this one. Wish I hadn’t paid this price.

Gave them as a gift to my mom for baking she loves them. The only thing I thought strange was that they didn't ship together.
