Guitar String Lubricant

I have been using FingerEase for a few years now and I must say that I almost couldn't live without it. It has many uses, I first purchased it many years ago on a whim, just to use it as a string lubricant hoping it would help me play faster and reduce the irritation on my fingertips when sliding my fingers on the strings. Let me tell you, it did indeed help with those problems, but it took me a little bit to discover it's most helpful use. My hands are almost always sweaty, so early on in my playing my strings never lasted very long. I would either have one break on me in a week or two, or the strings would become flat and dull sounding long before they should've. This was early on, when I didn't know much about the guitar, so I didn't realize that it was my sweaty hands causing these problems. Simply by chance I picked up some FingerEase at my local music store. Without me even noticing at first the life of my strings was at least doubled. I kept using it to reduce friction and cut down on,the sliding sound of my fingers against the strings, and slowly I started to notice my strings lasting longer. This product does a great job keeping strings clean, noise free, all while making them smoother to the touch. I tried elixer strings once or twice and I loved the way that they felt and the ease of playing with them. They are quite pricey though, and the coating never lasts long. This product will turn any strings you want into elixers, adding the same sort of coating, but without you having to worry about it coming off, because you can just give it another spray. I use Ernie Ball Cobalt strings, which sound wonderful, but I have read many,people complain that for the price they go dead fast, but I have yet to have that problem. A 4 dollar can of this lasts me nearly a year with liberal use, and makes my 10+ dollar strings last much longer. Great value for a great product A++

If you play big gigs or just around the house. A must have, keep them strings clean and easy to play

Great product at a good price. This stuff keeps my fingers flowing over my guitar. I’ve used it for several years and love it !

Very helpful when making transitions on the guitar, although I would definitely still advise using silken steel strings also to ease just learning.

Pretty regularly used

I’ve been using Finger Ease since I started playing guitar in the late 70’s when my local guitar store stocked it. It makes playing my guitar effortless which is especially important during gigs because various temperatures affect my skin. Dry fingers equal difficult playing. Finger-ease eliminates any of those issues and also (I believe) extends the life of my strings. It’s just a great product that I’ve used consistently for almost 50 years now.

This is the best product for dry strings, fretboard and even your fingers as the spray lubricates the strings and fretboard really well. Use to much and it will become very slippery so use 1 or 2 light sprays. It last a long time too. No need to use it more than once per session, jam or practice. Will help with developing speed as well as the strings won’t grab your fingers which can slow you down. If you play in dry locations, jams or gigs, this is a must buy.
