Hurst1745000 Roll/Control Valve

I know this is a top quality product, I’ve used it in my race cars for decades.Update; I guess they don’t make them like they used to. Not this one but we replaced one after 30 years and the replacement only lasted 5years. Sheesh

I only use name brand parts in a brake system Have used these before with no issues for many years, so of course I ordered this again when I got another car. You will need adapters from the pipe thread to the brake flare, they can be founf here also and be prepared to make a new brake line or two to get this installed in a good location. Wiring is stupid simple, and once plumbed inline, just blled your brakes as normal. Hoping it is the same quality of my other two that have lasted more than 20+ years in service. Looking at this one versus the old ones, I see no difference. Highly recommend

100% pure awesome. I have always been a fan of Hurst stuff and am super duper happy with this. Easy to install and works great. Awesome price point for what you get.

As exspected.

I have had one of these on my summer cruiser for years and they work and hold up fantastic. I only trust a brand like Hurst with anything to do with my braking system. With all the generic versions of this same valve I strongly suggest this Hurst. This will lock your fronts with ease allowing excellent smokey burn outs!!

Works as described. However The ports on the roll control are not setup for flare brake lines so you will have to either buy the install kit of get your own fittings that fit both your lines and the roll control itself.

Installed on Jeep cj-7 w/4 speed stick for hill climbing/ rock crawling. Plumbed only into front brakes, but holds very well in near vertical situations in 4 low. I don't feel the need to install one on the back brakes as previously planned. I opted for the all inclusive install kit sold separately as I live 20 miles from the nearest parts house. Might as well order some speed bleeders if you work alone (another great product- look them up) though not required.

Works well with pro touring car for showing off as well as being lazy with standard transmission on steep incline. I used 2 relays to light the stock brake warning light on dash instead of using the light supplied in kit.

Great product, works perfect like it should. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is I wish it came within fittings. Would be nice if they included a few of the common flare nuts or at least the needed plugs to block off the un used ports.

Instructions a bit vague in places. Especially indicating that fittings must be purchased to place in block ports that the brake lines are they fastened too. YouTube videos on installation are a good review of install procedure and fitting placement.
