Great tea. Cheaper than my previous trendier supplier!

At last - a loose leaf Darjeeling that provides a darker infusion than the usual light golden colour. The leaves may not be as whole as some Darjeeling I have bought online, but this may be due to the crush of the vacuum packing.I advise using more leaves than the standardly advised one teaspoon per person to get that darker infusion.Its a huge amount of tea. May be more suitable for retail tea / coffee house purchase.

I tried brewing this as instructed - 100 degrees for approximately 4 mins. The tea was extremely bitter and I had to discard that pot of tea. I tried again, this time I brought the temperature down to 90 degrees and brewed for 3 minutes and this resulted in a lovely smooth flavour.

I love simpli special. I've been buying their tea for years and they never disappoint. This Darjeeling is always phenomenal.

It's the real deal. Smooth, flavourful, beautiful colour. In fact I am sipping a cuppa of this Darjeeling as I type... I infuse it in a t-sac (size 1).
