Easy to install.Fit for purpose.

So my 1st pics with the self tapping original bolts...a lot of people made comments about the new hoist not having threads, but if you have the original parts, those bolts will cut your threads. Ratchet those in on the bench, way easy.My problem with this hoist is the mark for the "stop cranking cable into the box." When putting the spare on and cranking up, I stopped at that tag mark, leaving the tire about 10 inches short of being where it needs to be. The cable below that mark is way too long! The only option is to remove that tag and crank it up, hoping for the best later on....OR, return this poorly planned and un-measured hoist back! Which is what I plan to do. You get what you pay for I guess. I was avoiding the 130 dollar part at an auto store.

Had to add own bolts to mount the factory ones would not screw in to part there wasn't any threads.

Can’t tell this replacement from original Ford product! Cable looks like stainless steel!

This spare tire hoist (winch) arrived in a timely manner. Had a perfect fit on my 2001 Ford Pickup and works great. I would recommend this product.
