Impressive
This little tent is well put together !I had to postpone my outing this summer due to work but I am planning to put this little gem to the test middle September in the sierras back country ..Maybe I’ll do a video to share with the manufacturer.

For the price it’s an awesome tent
The media could not be loaded. This is a great design. Fantastic ventilation easy to set up easy to pack away. Can be compressed much smaller than the bag you get with it. The stakes that come with it work very well. I wish the trekking poles were a bit lighter but they are very sturdy. Though not quite rainproof, the tent is comfortable and manageable even in a rain storm. If you’re backpacking on a budget, I would suggest this tent. If you have more money, you might want to look elsewhere for something more waterproof.

I just got back from a three day trip on the twin valley trail near Dayton Ohio (that’s also worth checking out if you’re near the area) and this tent was great. It set up very easily and kept me dry during a light rain on the first night.Night 1 had a ton of factors that meant my buddy’s single wall tent was soaked on the inside with condensation while I just had a slight problem near my head and feet. It wasn’t much but the real problem was that my campsite was on a very slight hill and I had slid down a bit overnight and was touching the wall with my sleeping bag. It wasn’t much though and my bag dried quickly despite a fairly damp morning. As for the size of the tent, I’m 5’11” and fit fine but if I was a few inches taller I’d probably only be able to curl up on my side to sleep without touching the walls. The tent is wide enough for larger side sleeping pads so this wouldn’t be a problem but if you’re a tall back/stomach only person then maybe I look for a two person tent to sleep in diagonally. The vestibule had plenty of room for my gear. The trekking poles were a bit heavier than the ones my friend had brought but one of his ended up breaking after getting stuck in some mud.Overall everything seemed like it was good quality and I plan on buying more from this company if they keep making solid equipment at such a competitive price.

Nice lightweight budget tent
This is a decent one person tent and it's also relatively lightweight. The tent is extremely easy and quick to setup and to tear back down. The tent packs down relatively small in the included stuff sack (you can see the green stuff sack in the gear pick) and is easy to store. I have had the tent outside in the rain for two days and there were no leaks detected, so it seems to be relatively water resistant. It is truly a one person tent in my opinion and I have little room after I get inside (six feet about 240 pounds). It's not cramped necessarily, just "cozy" and if I had to do it again, I would have bought the two person tent to leave me room to store my gear inside. The tent does have a vestibule, so gear can still be kept out of the elements.I purchased the package that included the two trekking poles and the poles themselves are decent for the price. The poles use a three way collapsing system with tensioners that you can adjust for the length. The poles collapse to a small size which can then easily be strapped onto your pack or even stuffed inside depending on the size of your pack.Overall, I think this is an outstanding budget lightweight tent and it is good value for money.

Great tent
I love the light weight and strong construction of this tent. The vestibule space is pretty big and can easily fit your pack and shoes, also great for cooking when the weather is bad. River Country Products even included a set of trekking poles, which are pretty decent quality.Expect to spend some time trying to get the perfect pitch with this tent so you don't get the saggies.Overall a really great tent for the price you are paying. I would not hesitate to do a long hike with this tent.

Great budget combo backpacking tent!
Pros:- Good value and price.- Very easy and quick set up.- Guylines and easy-to-stake nails included.- Great against heavy rain. Since it's a teepee shape heavy downpour just slides off.- Large vestibule.Cons:- During windy weather (20mph winds for me), positioning the hiking pole the right way requires some practice.- Condensation can build up inside the ceiling, but not too much in my situation.- Taller folks may have some inconvenience due to the slanted walls (teepee shaped wall).- Could use more personal item pockets (there's only one inside).Final Thoughts:Overall, a great tent for the price. Pitch the tent during certain windy days to get a layout of how to position your hiking pole. For me I had to put it about a 75-80 degree angle. It's pretty much light overall and less clutter in my bag when I do multi-day hiking. I recommend this combo set for any novice or budget hikers as well!

Decent tent for the money
I was very pleased with this tent. It has ample room for one. The vestibule has plenty of room for my backpack. As a scout leader I needed a tent that was affordable and setup quickly. I wish the tent was longer. At 6 ft 2 I 6 ft 2 in I almost touch both ends of the tent. This presents a problem when it is raining.
