Sadly not real D2
The design is really good and the flipping is smooth. LuvThemKnives on YouTube tested the steel on this exact model (batch 5). He uses elemental analysis, so there isnt much room for error here. It tests as 8cr13mov. I really wish these sellers werent so comfortable with lying. It is well made, but dont buy it for the D2.

lock stick
for the price it isnt bad but mine came with a lockbar that must have an oval shape. sometimes it works great sometimes it sticks and the blade is free to swing around.

Nice knife but possibly re-branded.
I bought this elsewhere and like it. It was sharp enough to shave with right out of the box and has held its sharpness for the short time I have been using it. I ordered the yellow color so I don't misplace it when cutting up boxes. One thing I found amusing though; today when looking at other knives on Amazon I found its double, the Eafengrow EF3. My guess is they are made by the same manufacturer and then re-branded.

like a cross between a Ganzo and a Ruike
It's a five star knife. Not too light, not too heavy. The axis lock is a little different, lighter feel than the Ganzo, ricketier than a Benchmade. The steel spring might be a little too thin. Locks up with a slightly tinny click, but it feels very solid. The fluorescent greenish yellow scales are excellent and the color is really growing on me; the grip is ergonomic and it also looks good. It's scalpel sharp. The other Y-Starts I've seen remind me a lot more of TwoSuns, but this one really looks like the love child of a Ganzo and a Ruike. That's a good way to describe the feel as well. A bit rugged, a bit refined, like the first kid in a family to go to college. Looking forward to seeing more.
