Words Covered In Salt

For a young growing adult like myself, being able to really understand one's own emotions is hard to do so I look towards poetry because many poets are able to write what I'm unable to say. This short read definitely helped me with coping and understanding. It opened up a new way of thinking for me. The only reason I'm giving this book a 4 out of 5 stars is that some of the poems are a sentence or 2 long, yes it got straight to the point and was a central idea which I'm sure many people enjoy reading, I am just someone who wanted a read a little more. However, I still thought it was a great read, finished in less than a day.

Wow! The irony and sarcasm of words beautifully intertwined! The author took the complicated world and simplified it with a poetic justice! Love!My favorite was “Equisite Waste of Time” - as so remarkable said with so little! She truly has captured the essence of less is more!!’ Few words that speak volumes of human nature and world kind!

Absolutely truthful facts. I was broken for so long and it has taken me over a decade to be completely open with my heart with my significant other because of the one that broke me down until I was laying in a hospital bed wanting to die. If you are in a bad relationship please please reach out, keep fighting. You will be you one day again.

Most of the poems in this book seemed more like rants than, y'know... poetry. I guess that suits the title of the book, but I was expecting more. Also, I noticed a couple of typos. I might skim through it again in the future, but nothing about it struck out to me, sooooooooo maybe I'll just toss it or give it to somebody else.

Thought it would be like the title says, a little salty... but honestly it was ALOT of bad language and a terribly worded complaint every poem. Not really down well in my opinion.
