Affordable dash camera w/ rear camera
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I searched for many dash camera for my new car. I am a fan of Amazon's choice. Thus why I chose Apeman. This brand new Apeman's dash camera us equipped with a rear camera with a nice price. Also, it has reliable gravity sensor and parking guard, 1080P front camera resolution and 720P for the rear one. Apeman also provides patient technical support after sales. My rear camera didn't work at first, they helped me to fix it real quick! This is the third camera that I bought. The camera has fine packing. Compared with others of mine, this one is the best. I was surprised by its small body and great functions. The videos are extremely clear. This model is awarded by its great design. It absolutely deserved.I uploaded an unboxing and installing video. Hope it will help!

THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED with PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ATTACHED
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Pros: • Decent front camera • Cheap • Easy installation • Bright Display • Long enough wires • Rear camera helps with parking • Customer service that can actually talk.Cons: • Bad rear camera, it won’t capture the plates of another vehicles regardless of the resolution you set • Ineffective video compression (each cam requires 141 MB to record 3 min of footage) • Audio is really low quality captures too much noise • Full HD is just a marketing trick, this cam clearly doesn’t need it.Tips for buyers: • You don’t need Full HD, just use 720P to save storage • Buy 64GB and above MicroSD Card if you want ~20 hrs footage (10hrs on each cam) • Don’t set exposure above +1, anything above it will add unnecessary noise to your footage • Rear cam is just an optional thing, you can buy cheaper model without it • Select 3 Min Loop recording, don’t turn it off (if turned off each cam uses 3GB to record 30 min of footage (100MB/min))Tips for manufacturer: • Please let each have different resolutions: front cam needs HD and rear cam doesn’t or replace rear cam with another one with better lenses. • Fix compression, 47MB for a min of footage is too much, isn’t it? For example HVEC MPEG4 Compression requires 5 times less space.

Apeman did it again! What a great Dual Dash Cam for the money! IMPRESSIVE!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am not a First Time User with Apeman Products.I actually started with another brand but when I purchased the Apeman C450 for my daughter and installed the Dash Cam in her car, I was sold. I bought multiple devices for the entire family, replacing my previous brand. I was very satisfied with my C450 unit, as well as the Customer Service! They answer any question you might have very promptly! Now I see that Apeman released a Mini Dual model – C420D. I bought it, quickly installed it and even more happy with it. I will find a home for my other Apeman unit. This new Dual device is as easy as the description says. Less buttons, more simple to operate! I drive a three-row vehicle, the rear camera wiring has plenty of length and the image on the camera is crystal clear.Look at the clarity with other License Plates - Front AND Rear! After driving the first day, I took the SD card and took a look at the Video on my computer. I am even more impressed that the Mini Dual will provide you full screen video of both your front and rear views! The video detail is great!I like technology! Apeman did it again – nice unit with simple technology at a more than reasonable price!

A Durable, Affordable Dual Camera System
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. First of all if you are buying a dash cam to document any traffic accidents you might be involved in, a front AND rear camera is a must. This is a great two camera system at an affordable price point. I purchased the single camera version (C420) last winter and have loved it. I keep the C420 in my car 24/7 so I was concerned that it would be damaged by the summer heat inside the car. Well, it survived our hot summer with 100 degree + temperatures soaring inside the car just about every day. The new dual camera C420D will no doubt be just as tough; it looks pretty much the same as the C420 save for the jack for the rear camera. Many times manufacturers will skimp on the cabling. Not Apeman. The cable is long, thick & durable but still easy to route behind door trim, etc. You will spend most of your installation time routing the cables. Hooking up the cameras and getting them working is a piece of cake. The menu is intuitive; once you learn it, it’s easy to change the settings. The 1080 video from the front camera is very clear in daylight and at night. Although not quite as clear, the 720 video from the rear camera is still good enough to document accidents. There are four settings for the LCD screen/monitor on the rear of the main camera:Front camRear camSplit screen (both cams)Picture in Picture (both cams)The great thing about this camera is that it records both the front and back cameras into two separate video files at the same time. All of your front camera files are stored in one folder of the SD card; the rear camera files are stored in another folder.Once you get the cameras set up, you never have to worry about them. They automatically start recording when you turn on the ignition and automatically turn off when the ignition is turned off. It’s hassle-free. If you’re looking for quality and value, this is a great dash camera system.

Works great
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This camera is great for the price, you would have to spend a lot more if you wanted better quality. The camera is 1080p very small and uses a suction cup mount that locks, Its stayed where i put it. This also comes with a rear camera. Took me about 10 min to run the front wires. I have a truck so i dont use the rear camera. Im in Texas and the camera has worked great in this heat. Camera turns on and off when you start and stop the truck. This dash camera has good audio with the option of turning it off.

Affordable dashcam, worth buying!
This is my second apeman dashcam and i'm satisfied with their product as well as their service. This is an upgrade version compared to my previous one and so far, the video quality of this camera is better. I like that it comes in a tiny package so it does not get in the way of your view, you can even tuck it in behind the rear view mirror without any problem. I also like that it has rear camera, video quality is also good. The audio is clear. However, it doesn't come with an sd card but with it's price, i could say it worth it.

Great quality recording.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So let’s start with the packaging, really well packed, good detailed instructions so first impression were very good, the main cam is small as you can see in the video, perfect to hide behind the mirror if you want it to, the power cable is long so you can hide behind the roof lining and panels. You even get a sturdy tool to help with that.Very easy to set up and the quality of playback is very good, wide angle and clear images. Another big plus point for me was the holder. Sticks on very firmly so make sure you position exactly where you want it!Very impressed by this small but very extremely able dash cam!!

Best camera I've had by miles
Can't rate this highly enough! My old camera that I've had in my car died last month so I opted to get a new one that records both front and rear, this one ticked the boxes for that. The price was also much cheaper than other front facing and rear facing recorders.I've using this for the last 3 weeks and so I've had no issues whatsoever. As with most dash cameras it comes with the usual suction cup and to be honest it sticks very well, it ain't shifting!Recording quality is perfect, 1080p at it's best, numberplates are clear and visible, both front and rear. Wiring in was a bit of nightmare but mainly due to the fact I like to hide the wires, there was just so much length of wire that it comes with, that's my only complaint, the cables were too long, however that is SO SO MUCH BETTER than having cables that are too short! Took my 20 mins from start to finish to wire this in and that including removing my old one and routing a new cable for the rear view camera.Very please and very impressed.

Neat and easy to use
I have been a long time user of dashcams, but I had always used a simple front-facing model, and decided to upgrade to this unit with a rear facing camera as well.I was very impressed by the packaging, and the kit comes with everything you might need, including a charger with USB pass-through and even a sim ejector tool for the reset button / SD card. The camera uses a suction mount, which I prefer, which is securely locked in place and keeps the size down. The power cable and the rear camera cable are both plenty long enough for any car, I had to find somewhere to store the spare despite having quite a long saloon.Once the system was connected and an SD card inserted, I quickly tested the camera and found that the front and rear cameras each record into their own folder, but because video files are split into 3 minutes segments it's very easy to find which pair of files belong together. The camera quality is plenty good enough for a dashcam, and I was impressed by the rear quality given the very small size of the unit. It should be noted that although I used the provided double sided tape for the rear camera, the kit also comes with two small screws that could be used on the mounting bracket provided. With the dashcam display set to rear facing, perhaps it could even be used as a rear view camera?

Very good dual dash cam
This one is very good dash cam for the price. The front and rear facing cameras both have a great picture with 1080p at 30fps at the front and 720p resolution for the rear camera. It has an impressive 2" screen that looks stylish. The picture is clear and bright. Playback footage looks very clear, even at night. The cameras come as standard woth loop recording and a G-sensor allowing recordings to be captured in the event of an accident. The cables are a good length - they fit around the car and tucked away easily. The rear camera is weatherproof and both cameras are small enough to not distract you from driving. Overall, I recommend this.
