Salomon Speedcross 4, Women's trail running shoes

Bought these for work and they are great. Very light, look smart and really comfortable…no breaking in. I’m a 5, went for a 5.5 and they fit great. Waited until they were in the sale to purchase. 2 pair will always buy these for work.

These are much lighter and more comfortable than i expected. I bought them for trail walking/hiking but I think I will run in them too. They are a more narrow fit so not suitable for wider feet but this is typical of the brand. Also suggest you size up.

Great trainers , I have them for cycling work in the morning and need a waterproof shoe, they have great grip as well for the peddles , I'm glad I read the reviews and went up half a size , I'm a uk 6 and went 6.5 and they fit great , I've had saloman before and they have always lasted well, I'm hoping these will be as hard wearing , bring on the summer , sick of the rain .

Although I had to return the shoes due to sizing, they were well made and comfortable. Unfortunately, I seem to be in between the sizes of 6.5 and 7. I own the non GTX pair in size 6.5 which fits perfect. However this GTX version appears just a little smaller making my toes touch the front. I have decided to buy a pair bigger, size 7. The shoes were good lengthways but with a bigger size they were also roomier overall and the heel was not supported enough. I do have narrow feet and the shoes at size 7 just did not enclose my foot well making my heels slide up with every step. Sadly, I will probably struggle to buy a GTX pair for this reason and might have to find a different version or brand. If your feet are standard width, do give these shoes a try. I have run almost 1,000 miles in my non GTX pair and they are still going strong.

Very comfortable and water proof

This is my third pair of these. The shoes give excellent grip on uneven surfaces and are great for trails. I also use mine for holiday day walks as they're quite versatile. The elastic closure system work well to enable a snug fit. Point to note is this style is quite narrow and it's also wise to go up half a size, or a full size, to allow room for toes to spread a little. Can't fault these shoes!

These shoes are apparently designed for running but I bought them because I needed lightweight waterproof trainers for summer walking. As with the Salomon brand in general, they are a snug fit, I am a pretty average width size 6 and found the 6.5 fits well with thin socks, so I'd recommend going up at least a half size. They were comfortable straight out of the box, I wore them every day for a week of walking and had no issues at all. Several weeks down the line they appear to be wearing well and are most definitely waterproof, as evidenced many times. They are also terrifically 'grippy' which provides confidence on wet/uneven surfaces. I also love the beetroot colour, although that's a matter of taste. My only minor reservation is the longevity of the lacing system, in that IF they were to break it looks like they'd be difficult to replace, but it remains to be seen if this ever becomes an issue. In summary I am very pleased with these trainers and would highly recommend them.

Ordered my shoes at end of April 2024z barely worn . Notice they have a hole in the fabric left side of left shoe , don’t think they will last much longer without a home appearing and they are meant to be for a long 6 day hike I had planned in September so very disappointed with quality of the shoe . Waste of money

I am a 9.5 size with a high arch. These shoes fit me perfectly and I have had them a few years now with many happy hiking miles .

La verdad es que son unos tenis de montaña que ya tenía hace años y me habían encantado, pero no los conseguía en tienda. Espero que me vaya igual de bien con ellos que con los anteriores
