Quick and waterproof
Plus points:Compact. It fits in a bag a little larger than a steering wheel.Speed. You can literally put it up in 10 seconds. That would be longer if you were attaching the guy ropes. Speed is particularly useful if it's already poor weather conditions. Although I suspect that if it's very windy then you may struggle and may need help stabilising the tent.Weather-proof. Albeit only light rain, it has kept me dry and out of the wind. I've had the front door open, so I think that would be somewhat dependant on how you position the tent. Wind behind you etcSize: I have a larger sized chair than most. It fits in comfortably. You can fit a few other bags and such around yourself, although they make it a squeeze. But it's a one-person tent, what do you expect. Getting in and out is fine. You can't stand up inside, but the idea is to sit down on a chair.Things to be aware of:Re-packing. This is only a disadvantage until you get used to doing it. Instructions are at a minimum, but once you get the hang of it then you can put it away in less than a minute. The first few times it could take you much longer.Wind. As you may expect, it can be noisy as would any tent. This is top heavy though rather than low and flat, so in windier conditions then you'd need the guy ropes for stability.Visibility. Whilst there is a see-through front and sides, I'm not convinced you'd be able to see that much clearly as the "windows" are generally wrinkled from the storage. If you zipped up fully I'd imagine you'd get steamed up too. However, if you positioned yourself well and had the front flap slightly open then you'd have a clear view.I've used this once, so far, at a youth football match. Yes, there's an element of potentially being anti-social and of awkwardness, but I had several interested parents asking where I got the tent from. I was also dry and warm whilst being able to watch the game. I'd recommend it and I'll be using it again when the weather's bad.I bought this direct from the seller rather than through Amazon, although it is the same product.
