Garnier Fructis Style Surfer Hair Power Putty, 3 Ounce

My favorite hair product. Doesn't take much. Put on dry hair after styling. Can make bad haircuts look better. Rub some on your fingertips and put it where you want the hair to go. Not too heavy. Lasts a long time. I love all Garnier products, and I've tried them all and more expensive ones. Great price. Fast delivery.

I have used this product for seven or eight years. It has great hold and also washes out more cleanly than any other product I've used. Every other paste-like product I've used leaves a residue that feels like it is harming my hair. Not this one. It's great for curly hair, though I don't think it's specifically intended for it. The major drawback is that the tub size changed from 5 oz. to 3.6 oz a few years ago, so I run through this pretty quickly. To make things worse, the smaller 3.6 oz. tub was also priced higher than the 5 oz. one was. So I'm constantly on the lookout for something else to switch to.

I've used this putty for years. It smells amazing and works great. I don't have long hair but this does the job with my shorter hair well. I haven't switched to a different brand for putty and as long as they keep selling it I won't. Garnier Fructis Style Surfer Hair Power Putty, 3 Ounce

Garnier ruined a good thing, I use to love this stuff. They lowered the quantity, raised the price for the current Surfer Hair Putty, a silly scented goo that holds a fraction less than it did before. Garnier.....whos in charge? Why fix what was not broken?

My favorite all time volumizer. I don't know WHY they stopped selling it in normal stores. It was replaced by something else similar that works about 1/4 as good as this. Nothing else gives the texture this does. Does not look greasy (unless you put on a ton). Love it.I will be so sad if they don't bring it back to the shelves of the normal stores!

I like some of the other Garnier Fructis products, but not this one! The problem for me is the harsh chemical smell, it's rather intense and after using it a couple of times, I had to send it back. As far as what it does, it is OK. If not for the chemical smell, I would have kept it. Oh well, I will stick with their "pure clean" product. Costs a little bit more but no harsh smell.

I used to buy these when Garnier sold them for less with more ounces. Unfortunately, they changed the packaging and reduced the ounces and raised the price. Still here I am buying six more because I like the way this stuff looks with my hair and it's easy to wash out each day and doesn't make a mess or feel sticky or stiff. It would get 5 stars if the price per ounce was lower! So it gets 3 stars because of the price.

This is the only reasonable priced hair putty I have found that holds my hair without my hair feeling gunky or stiff. I'm a dude, my hair is short (about 2-3 inches), and can be difficult at 3 inches thanks to the genetic splicing of my Mom's curly hair and my Dad's straight hair. One small application lasts the day! My only request is to have a bigger tub size. I use the both the Fiber Spikes (7 Hold) and Surfer Hair (6 Hold) equally and love them both.

Its so creamy and give nice hold n texture however few people will find it tought to style but good product no regret after buying.

Define you not a gel but works well especially combined wth hair spray.
