The ABSOLUTELY BEST hard contacts remover Hands Down!!
I have just reordered because I had stopped wearing my hard lenses, had lost one. These are hands down the ONLY contact remover I will ever, ever use. They are extremely easy to use. At first it's a little freaky, so used to come from the side of my eye than at the last second straightened it out so it'd suck the contact right out of my eye!!It's very quick, painless and as said extremely easy to do. I have bought others from Amazon because they were in various colors, but they are very small. I doubt if those ones could pick up even a grain of dirt!I purchased the 6 of them, nice deal and not being able to see once my contacts come out, who knows. I think my cat bats them around. I can put them at the 3 locations I'm apt to take them out. Love not running from spot to spot.Highly recommended. I was NOT paid for my honest review.

Weird little eye plungers
Lately when I leave my gas permeable contacts in my eyes too long, or if I've had a long day at work - My contacts are difficult to just pop out my eyes. Using these little rubber plungers takes a bit of practice, and you can't be squeamish about poking them into your eye, but when you get comfortable using them, they are pretty handy. The trick is to open your eye wide and look straight ahead. Take the little plunger and firmly press it onto the center of your contact lens applying a bit more pressure than you would like to - and then pull it straight away from your eye. Voila! Your lens is removed. I would recommend these to anyone who feels they can master the technique. They are also very easy to clean and store. A nifty little invention for sure.

Only for removal not inserting
I ordered this product based on picture for is exactly what I have been using for years to remove my contacts. Received in the mail today and very disappointed. These are for removal only and not anything like what was pictured. They were more expensive than some others I could have bought but wanted to stay with what I knew so paid the higher price. I have tried to use one for removal and it worked fine but if you are someone who needs to use for inserting your contacts then this is not the product for you.

I've been struggling with contact lenses for about a year, finally getting so frustrated I stopped trying. My fingers are so large they actually blot out the sun, making it impossible to get a smooth installation. With this little tool, just keeping my ham hands a little more than an inch away, let's in enough light to make the insertion with the RGP.As far as removal, I haven't practiced enough with the tool to make that part of the procedure smooth. An inexpensive great tool.I'm buying 5 more for myself as Christmas gifts.

This one works.
A friend of mine tried the one with the safety release, with the hole through the center so when you let completed go of it, it will loose any vacuum, but holding the vacuum to get the contact out is not an easy task. In this case they had an operation to raise a drooping upper eye-lid, but now they are having an issues with getting there gas perm lense to pop out like it always has. There may be a little swelling left from that, so we are hoping in time they can get back to popping it out as they use to. Bottom line, they can get the contact lense out with this one!

which is just like the one the opthamologist uses when he takes the ...
When my eyelids gave out after 50 years of popping out my lenses, decided to try this tool, which is just like the one the opthamologist uses when he takes the lenses out. Took a bit to learn how to center it on the lens, with just the right amount of wetting solution on it, but it definitely works. The case is waterproof, so the tool can be cleaned with lens cleaner and stored in soaking solution to keep it clean, but be sure to store it upside down if you do this- otherwise it suctions itself to the bottom of the storage tube and is really hard to get out!

The product works fine for my situation
The product works fine for my situation. I don't expect it to insert a gas permeable contact lens, I use my finger tip. I need something to remove a contact after I have worn them for hours and my eyes are now dry and tired. This is a quick way to avoid having to bother with the discomfort of a sticky lens refusing to blink out. I would have given a five star rating had I received three suction cups as pictured and not just one which was what I actually got. I was hoping to have one in my car, one in my medicine cabinet, and one in my jacket pocket for when I am out.

Works to have ten...
These work great for any handling of rigid contacts. Besides easily plucking that contact off your eye, they are also useful for picking up a contact that dropped in the sink and is upside down.Having ten means my wife can place them in several purses and luggage and still have one (or two) for the bathroom.
