Quality Product!
Bought this for a waterfall photography trip. Wanted to see if there was a difference in what I had been using and something "quality". First and foremost this is a quality made filter, as soon as you pick it up you can see that it is well made. I stacked this with the 77mm X1 CP on my Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 for the day. From a clarity stand point no issues with either the ND or CP filters stacked. Pictures turned out crystal clear. Biggest issue I had was removing the ND filter from the CP filter. Luckily I have a set of plastic filter wrenches and I was able to get them apart. However, doing this in the field is not the most ideal thing. Overall very pleased after one trip with the filter, still need further testing, but happy right now nonetheless.

Great products. Not so great customer service.
While the products themselves are great, the customer service (especially from the owner of the company) is terrible. I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of filters from these folks (both through Amazon and direct from the company) and was in the process of buying more when I reached out to them and complained that a) they don't have their entire catalog on Amazon so I have to hunt for products there first, then fill in the gaps by ordering directly from Breakthrough (which takes longer, hence my preference for Amazon); and b) that their "warranty activation" process (which is required to be completed within 30 days of receipt) didn't always seem to work and that it wasn't necessary anyway because the company has all the information it needs to validate my purchase, assuming that there's ever a warranty issue (which, given the simple nature of these products, isn't likely). The response I got from Graham Clark was to call me "rude", apparently because I'd criticized their "simple" system and, according to him, didn't know how to use it. Rather than reading my feedback for what it was (an honest complaint from a paying customer who loves their product and has promoted it among his photographer friends, but who is frustrated with a silly process that doesn't appear to work consistently and, as far as I can tell, has no real value other than to gather information about me that they already have), Mr. Clark decided, I guess, to take it as a personal insult and respond in that vein. In the time it took him to type one sentence ("It's pretty rude that you criticize our simple activation process without even knowing how it works."), he turned a loyal, valuable customer into one who would be hard pressed to recommend (let alone purchase) anything from him again. So, again, the product is great, and if that's all you care about, buy it. However, while I get that dealing with customers can be frustrating, treating us as adversaries doesn't seem to be a great model for success.

Fantastic ND filter
Fantastic ND filter, works great. I've been using it for daytime photos in harsh light, as well as for sunsets. Really works well, and is resistant to smudges. Also, a great tool to have when you're doing real-estate photography and you have to take a picture of a house in the middle of the day in harsh light. A fantastic tool for the working photographer and hobbyist.

Beautifully crafted.
I love everything about this and every other filter that I have purchased from Breakthrough Photo. The machine work is impeccable from the surety of the threads to the knurled grips around the outside of the outer rings supporting these filters.I have noticed zero color aberration or optical distortion.

I have purchased several of these Breakthrough Photography filters, ...
I have purchased several of these Breakthrough Photography filters, as I am beginning to do more long exposure photography. They are sharp, have no color cast, well constructed. I am impressed that each filter is guaranteed and has its own identification number. Outstanding customer service.
