Not For Me :(
Not very flattering. The post is in the center of the earring, causing them to droop on my earlobes due to their size and weight. Sending them back.

They'll fool everyone but your jeweler.
I received these as a gift three days ago and have worn them every day since--they are that pretty. However, since I work in a fine jewelry store, I routinely check my favorite pieces (especially those with small or prong-set stones) under my microscope in case anything needs tightening up or straightening out. When I checked these, I immediately saw why they were such a great deal: the black and white "diamond" halo setting is an optical illusion. Most of the "diamonds" are just half-heartedly faceted bumps in the metal, and some of them are actually just tiny, empty 4-prong settings. The photos and listing suggest that the main stone is surrounded by many small black and white diamonds, when in reality, there is only ONE black and ONE white stone per earring. If you read the specs carefully, this is truthfully indicated, but I bet most buyers didn't read them. I didn't test the diamonds because I don't really care if they're real--at that size and quantity (less than 0.065cttw per stud), it really doesn't matter. Also, the main stones (in my case, the lab emeralds) are a beautiful color, but perhaps a little darker than I would have chosen as a designer. And the facets aren't very sharp. If they were a ring, these might be bigger issues for me since the viewing distance would be closer. But when they are in my ears, you can't really tell these apart from the much finer, pricier types of studs we sell at work. as other reviewers noted, they are a bit front heavy, so I wear them with bigger backs to keep them sitting nicely against my lobes. Otherwise, they look sturdily made.Like I said, they are lovely, classy earrings, and I will be keeping them for that reason as well as the sentimental value. Just don't think you're getting a >$1000 pair of halo studs for <$100. A full halo of real diamonds around a better-cut gemstone, in white gold, would of course cost much more than these beauties. But that doesn't change the fact that they are beauties.

Grandma loved them
My mother in law is an emerald lover, so I purchased these for her for valentines day. She was so excited and said they are absolutely gorgeous. Better reaction than I could have hoped for so I'm assuming they look better or just as nice as the picture. She says she's wearing them to work tomorrow so she must really love them. Highly recommend... I'm thinking of getting myself a pair.
