Pretty nice clock for the price
For the price, I was not expecting much but ended up being pleasantly surprised. As advertised, the case is real wood and nicely finished with no visible gaps in the seams or rough surfaces. Some have commented that the instructions were hard to follow, but I found them to be clear enough and it took only a few minutes to configure the settings. The display is bright and clear and the three brightness ranges are well spaced. I'm not using this as an alarm clock but agree that turning off the alarm using the back panel could be tedious each morning. The one negative I've found is that the USB power cord has a standard coaxial power plug on the clock end. If they had used a mini USB connector or cell phone connector it would have made the power cord much more standardized. As it stands, if I wanted to purchase a longer cord or one that is white, there is no real option. The power cord is pretty short (~4 feet) which limits where the clock can be placed. The only option I see to extend the power cord is to buy a USB extension cable. But if it had a more standardized USB power cable, there would have been numerous options as to cord length, color, and cord flexibility. This is a relatively minor complaint and not enough to lower my product rating. More of an FYI for those that might want to change the cord.

Really nice, well made, real wood, works perfectly
This is the first time I've written a review without being poked by Amazon. I bought this clock. ordered it because I wanted one that wasn't too bright, was small, but looked great since I'd see it every day. There are so many alarm clocks out there that a plasticky, too bright, hard to read etc etc. But this delivers on all fronts - it is easy to set up, it looks fantastic, and most importantly, not only is it not too bright at its lowest setting, it can be set up to turn off completely after 10 secs and in the early hours you just have to snap your fingers, grunt, or cough at it to turn on the display. It really is a bargain.

Mixed Bag, But I like It
I like this clock. I find it to be good looking, and simple. One can adjust the display for three different brightness levels, and even set the display to be always on, or to turn off after 30 secs or so. Any somewhat loud noise will turn it back on.The numbers appear a bit more blue, than the product picture, and are readable from across a 20 ft room.It does not come with a power supply. The user must supply a common USB 5V supply. Most folks have some of those laying around unused. However, it would help if meross would offer an accessory plug in supply for those that might not have one.Since it has a DC power supply and therefore does not reference the 60Hz US line frequency, I look forward to seeing how well it keeps time. The manual has a few spelling and capitalization errors, but is other wise clear on how to set the clock.Enclosed in my unit, was a small card that prompted me to register the unit at the meross site. The inducement to register is to be entered into a contest for a free product. This from their site:**********************Register your product for Meross 1-year warrantyApplicable for Non-Smart products only. We Strongly recommend you to Register your products to ensure you can get our full warranty services without keeping your purchase receipts. There's no need for you to register if your products is a Meross smart device.**********************All well and good, but registration on the site does not work, they don’t define what constitutes a “Non-Smart product... ” and they do not post the rules for this contest. US law requires operators of chance contests post the rules. (e.g. is it a monthly, yearly, or weekly contest, what is the value of the prize, etc.)There is a CR2032 (included) to hold the time when there is a power outage, but understandably the display will blank when there is no mains power. It will also hold (4) AAA batteries to power the clock, but the mfg does not recommend that as the display will shorten battery life to about a week. All in all, it is a good little clock. I added some small stick on feet to keep it from sliding around. Well worth the money.

Beautiful, Quite Clock
This is not an alarm clock its just a beautiful looking clock. Its attempt at an alarm feature fails due to its use of an incredibly cheap speaker. The speaker on this clock is very quite and failed to wake up me or anyone I tested it on. The sound and speaker of this alarm is comparable to the speakers used for Mcdonalds happy meal toys. Fact is that the sound emitted from the clock sits at around 60-65 decibels. The sound needed to wake up the average person is 110 decibels. I really wish the company used louder speaker in this product. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I would recommend this clock
I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this clock. This is a very attractive digital clock. The light colored wood (like pine, beech, ash? ) casing matches the decor in our home perfectly. Where cheap looking plastic alarm clocks are common, this one stands out aesthetically. The four corners are gently rounded and are pleasing to look at and to touch. The backlighted display (white on black) is really easy to see even at an angle and from across the room. Setting the time and alarm(s) is fairly easy if you follow the illustrated instructions. Even though the manual says a tap or a sound will make the display light up, I found that tapping with the fingertip won't work. I have to tap with my fingernail. Just a light click with the tip of the fingernail will do. One of the main reasons I decided on this clock is that in case of power outages, this clock has batteries for backup power. So I don't need to be worried about the alarm not ringing at the set time. I had an issue with the USB cable but I contacted the seller and they resolved it promptly. I would definitely buy from them again. (But as another reviewer has noted, why didn't they make this with a regular USB-usb cable instead of a USB-DC cable? It would be so much easier to replace if the included cable goes bad.)

Great Looking and Very Functional Digital Clock with Temp/Humidity - Highly Recommended
This is a great little digital clock. The wooden enclosure is nice and very modern-looking. The display is big and crisp and can be set to three brightness levels. It features a temperature and humidity sensor that appears in nice, legible numbers on the right-hand side. The readings matched up almost perfectly with the indoor unit of my weather station, so the accuracy is quite impressive. It features two independent alarms, an AC power option via a USB cable (bring your own wall charger), and battery backup. Batteries can be used as the primary power source, but why waste batteries when you probably have a spare wall charger in a drawer. It was nicely packaged, very easy to set up, and has worked flawlessly. This is not a surprise because without exception I have found Meross products to be excellent. The only comment that I have for the company is that it would be nice to see a future version integrate the smart capabilities and Alexa connectivity that just about all of their other products have.

Surprisingly Flexible
Picked up this clock because it had a few neat features. Specifically, the ability to lower the display light, and have the display turn off altogether unless it detects a tap or clap. These features make it ideal for the babies room. Add to that the fact that we can see the temp and humidity at a glance, seals the deal. The unit is small and easy to control. The only thing that should be noted is that it's powered by USB... and not a standard USB, but one that ends in a round power point. Also, it doesnt come with an AC/USB plug. That means that you a) need to provide your own USB power brick, and b) if you lose that cable, you're done. Other than that trip to the dollar store for the USB adapter, it looks really sharp and i'm quite pleased! I've got a few Meross devices now, and am generally pleased with all of them! Especially for the price!

Small, elegant, and simple
This clock looks great on my side table; much more tasteful than the usual black, chunky clocks with the bright red displays. This clock is smaller than I expected, but that's a positive because it takes up less room on my table than I was expecting. I don't know 100% if the wood is real or not, but it looks and feels like it.The clock is pretty straightforward to use. You can set up to 3 different alarms if you wish, you can use either 12hr or 24hr time, and you can adjust the brightness of the display. While I was setting the parameters I had no weird glitchy issues that seem to be common with these types of alarm clocks. One nice thing about this clock is when I accidentally unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in, it remembered what time it was last, so I didn't need to reset it.I think I would have preferred if the clock had been battery-powered rather than use a power cable, but it isn't a big deal. Regarding the power cable, it uses a USB connection. The clock doesn't come with a USB wall adapter, so you will need to get one if you don't already have one lying around. Hopefully this helped!

It's ok, but basic and fairly featureless
It's a nice, simple clock and alarm with 3 different alarms programable. Setup is pretty quick, but you have to go through click settings and each alarm setting before you get to the "next one" that you want to set. Also the instructions are not clear on how you silence the alarm. No obvious option to snooze or disarm it. You just have to press buttons to figure out what's going on. Also, sounds control isn't very sensitive to a clapping sound as indicated. Only seems to work (wake up) when you tap the clock.

Cute but glitchy
The clock itself is very cute and when it works, it works. But it gets glitchy.Examples of glitches:- goes between C and F on it's own- the "up" button speeds up on it's own (ie. when I need to change clark numerically forward, it doesn't go from 1, 2, 3, 4. It goes from 1 to 9 and then I have to click the "down" button to go back to where I want it. This one is most annoying since I change my alarm time often).- the light sensor isn't always working. so it's suppose to turn itself off if there's no sound in the room and light up when tapped or if there's soun in the room. This happened for the first few months. But now the light is permanently on which is super bright when sleeping. I have to turn the clock face down to sleep.
