Engraved Rear Back Plate for Springfield Armory XDs 9mm .40 .45acp -Single Stack ONLY - Choose Your Design

This back plate looks nice and is easy to install but in my XDs-9 it affects the trigger travel just enough that it hits the trigger stop and requires extra pressure to allow the striker to release. Others may be different but in my firearm there is very little or no trigger over travel at the break with the stock plate, that may change over time and I will try this plate again after a few thousand rounds but right now this plate affects the functionality in my firearm too much and I will have no choice but to run the stock plate. On a side note, if you run into this problem and want to use this plate anyway the stops on the back side of the trigger (2 bumps on the back of the trigger just below and behind the trigger safety roll pin) can always be filed down a bit to create the extra trigger travel required to function properly.

It looks awesome... I just really wish it wouldn't have faded.I have this on my Springfield XDS 9mm -this is my Carry Gun and I have had the Slide cover on for about a month and the stars ant top 2 stripes are beginning to fade away.Really bummed because I have bragged about this thing to all of my friends and now it almost faded for good.I would still recommend it - but do note that you have about a month or so of true use before it will fade.

This is something that I had to have for my xds EDC. Quality of this product is up to par with factory back plate.

Ordered Psalm 144:1 for my husband’s gun. The print is terribly small and difficult to read. It fits his gun perfectly, just disappointed that we almost needed a magnifying glass to read it.

Hope this will HELP! Given the size of the back plate on the SPRINGFIELD XDS-45 the design is VERY SMALL. I have the same one on my GLOCK 42 and it’s bigger. The smaller the design (X-ray) the smaller the appearance on the back plate
