It is impossible to use this stencil to repeat the pattern.The left and right side should not be symmetrical; the left side should fit the right side like a puzzle. Because this is symmetrical, the left side repeated next to the right side you would have just completed, leaves a gap every other scale rather than the pattern fitting together.Returning as it’s not fit for purpose.
