Kate Spade New York Mercer Drive 5-Piece Place Setting, 4.15 LB, Multi

My wife started this collection last year and I surprised her with this bowl. She absolutely loved it. This collection is really nice to display and at a decent price. I will be buying the whole collection.

These are beautiful dishes that were shipped with improper packaging and the plates were broken. I was refunded but now I’m struggling to get them elsewhere in person

The only thing that would make this set better, is if it came as a service for 4, 6 or 8. Beggars can't be choosy though. This set up for one place setting would be perfect as a wedding gift, especially if this is something on the wedding couple's wish list. Fine china manufactured by Lenox for Kate Spade New York.

While the dinner plate shows a little more blue than gray, I realize that all monitors are different, so always expect some color variations. No big deal, that doesn’t at all take away a thing from this place setting. The lack of a bowl is no big deal for me either. Sometimes we don’t serve soup lol. I love the way a stacked setting looks on a table as far as presentation wise, and this set presents very well. All class! Like with any fine china or better dishes I suggest hand wash, and obviously these are not microwave safe with the platinum detail. They say they are dishwasher safe, but I just don’t want to chance the wear the dishwasher may cause. But thats a personal preference. I will say there is nothing like having your morning cappuccino in a really good cup. Also a lovely cup for my afternoon tea. Anyway, as with most Kate Spade ♠️ items I’ve owned over the years, this is right on par. Excellent quality, just as you’d expect.

This is a pretty bowl. Has a somewhat fragile feel/sound, but does feel fairly sturdy. Dishwasher safe, but not microwaveable- it has a silver rim around the edge, so that's probably why. Nice for display, too. The product pictures make it look a bit wide, but it's actually not that wide. It's more deep.

This is a pretty 5 piece one person place setting featuring a dinner plate, dessert plate, bread plate, saucer and coffee cup. The design is black, white, and grey with a silver metal rim on each piece. Even though it states they are dish washer safe, in my experience, any sort of metal rim for long-term care needs to be hand-washed. I suppose it depends on how these would be treasured. For the price, they are a significant investment and I think the purchaser would want to keep them nice. The coffee cup is small but certainly comparable to my other fine china dish sets. What I do love about this place setting is the saucer/plates have different designs. Actually the coffee cup saucer and second largest plate (I call it a dessert plate but maybe it's for salad provided it's a small salad) has the same design which is black band within the metal rim, white band, and the larger gray band. The third largest saucer (I think it's the bread plate) has the cutest design. It's black rimmed with what looks to me like metallic flowers, minus leaves and petals, pushing up from the center towards the rim. The dinner plate has a grey and white geometric design where curves are prominent. It's very clever how the pieces work together. I don't often dine on fine china but I do enjoy displaying it. This set will go into my china cabinet.
