I recently purchased the KATSU Aluminium Router Table Insert Plate from Amazon and I must say, I am quite impressed with its quality and performance. The plate itself is made of sturdy aluminium, ensuring durability and stability during use. The pre-drilled holes made it easy to mount my router securely, and the leveling screws provided a seamless adjustment process. The convenient size of the insert plate fit perfectly into my router table, allowing for precise and smooth cuts. Additionally, the included starter pin and wrench were a nice bonus. However, I did encounter one minor issue with the leveling screws not being perfectly aligned, causing a slight unevenness in the surface. Although this was a minor inconvenience, I decided to return the product and explore other options. Overall, I believe the KATSU Aluminium Router Table Insert Plate offers great value for its price and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile router table insert plate.

I’ve been wanting to build my own router table for use with my cheap Katsu hand router for a while and I finally did it using this plate as the centrepiece. Great product at a great price for my usage, only gripe with it is the screws don’t seem to be made from a good quality metal and as such may get threaded with repeated screwing / unscrewing.

Solid piece of kit, stronger than I expected. Perfectly transforms a hand held router into a table top router! To give more control when using.

I bought this specifically to go with my UK mains powered katsu hand router. Now unless I’m missing some thing, when the router is fully up the button that is used to lock the spindle cannot make it through the hole properly so you need one hand above the plate and one below to properly tighten it up. My other complaint is that when using a lifter there is no hole present wide enough to allow an hex key to pass through, however that was soon remedied with a drill bit.Overall my opinion ( at least based on my product) is that it will get the job done nicely now it’s been coupled to a lifter but there is certainly room for improvement. This being said, if you own your own CNC machine you could mill your own based on the pictures in the description.For the price however I think it’s well worth the p purchase. Just don’t forget to factor in the cost of some wood to make a small table and may be some t-track and other little bits to get the best out of it.

Holes didn't match any of my routers fixings , so had to drill ,not a real problem, inserts fit ok

Good price and quality - unfortunately the router I had for attaching to it had been machined /manufactured incorrectly so one of the holes didnt align. NOTHING up with this insert just a faulty router on my part
