Some people ranted about them being white. It is protective film that you peel off. It's on there from when they texture to get the mirror/matte look you see in the picture.If someone had to remove the film at the factory they would cost one money. But instead the film is on, you remove it, and you get three of them for one money.

I was surprised when they arrived, that there is a strip of white plastic material as decoration I didn't notice in the picture. I believed that I was going to receive an all-metal, silver case.Unfortunately, the white strip has been coming up off the metal in places.

I bought these for my employees and myself and they work for their intended use. They do scratch easily and show prints.
