Aerb 4G Waterproof MP3 Music Player for Swimming & other Sports (IPX-8 Standard) (Pink)

So far I've had no issues with this device. I've used it 5d/wk for a month and haven't yet needed to recharge it - hopefully it'll hold charge when I do! I went waterproof because I sweat a lot and got tired of replacing Sansa mp3 players (which I really really like!). I have not used this with the included earbuds, so I haven't tried it in water. Controls are really rudimentary, and my only complaint would be about having to wait between changing songs.------------UPDATE 27MAR156 months and maybe 8-9 recharges later and the Aerb is still going strong. I use it daily and it seems to hold a charge for about 3-4 weeks. I am super happy with this device.------------UPDATE 13MAY16Sadly, my little sweat-proof, water-proof, featureless MP3 player is giving in to the effects of daily use and regular recharges. I'm finding the battery won't hold charge for as long as it used to. I'm recharging now it seems every other week. So sad. BUT, I went ahead and bought a back up, to prepare for the day when I can no longer tolerate the surprise of it dying mid-workout. Turns out, though, that it has held up very well in the pool (but I hate the earbuds and had to go find a better pair) and is super fun (and super distracting) to wear in the shower. It's been a hell of a run, and has lasted sooo much longer than any of the poor Sansas that just couldn't handle the sweat soaking. Totally worth the $40 I paid for it =D------------UPDATE 18MAY16SADNESSSSSS... the replacement unit I purchased on 11MAR won't power up, even after overnight charge. I'm assuming it's at full charge since the LED is solid green. I've tried holding RESET, holding PLAY/PAUSE, even holding both, for anywhere from a quick press to a full 10-15 sec reset and nothing resets this thing. But since I purchased this 2 mos ago and failed to test it at the time I'm ineligible for replacement. So, now I'm 1 for 2, and far, FAR worse, I don't have a SWEATPROOF mp3 player =(.

COMES LOADED WITH VIRUSES, MALWARE, AND A TROJEN!I plugged it into my computer and transferred my music and let it fully charge. Suddenly my computer started turning on and off. Then I got hijacked! A blue screen saying my computer has been attacked and to call a number for technical support. I immediately unplugged the mp3 and the computer. Did a re boot and ran my virus protection which found MALWARE, Trojan, and other assorted nasties. I back dated my computer and all is well but people who don't know much about computers would not know what to do. I do not recommend this product!

First I had some concerns for the player related to its low price: was afraid of sound quality and/or quality of the product. And after using it for 1 year I bought another one for my wife and she is using her for almost a year now and happy with it too.Quality of the product is great: no single issue. Battery life is also great: I never swim for longer then 1.5 hours and it never died on me. Full charging happens in less then an hour.Sound quality is around average: bass is almost absent, high tones are cut and middle tones are bit muffled. But it is still better then some 3 times more expensive sport-players. Headphones are comfortable and I have no issue swimming with them for an hour.Highly recommended especially considering the price.

I have used this for about three times a week (45 minutes- 1 hour) for about 3 months while swimming laps. It works good. I have no complaints about the battery life or the music player, The only problem I have is with the clip. It does not hang on to my swim cap at all and when I clip it to my swim suit, sometimes it falls off when I do flip turns.

Its worth about $20! Even if you download songs in a random order, it plays them as albums. You can't shuffle them. Earphones ok. put Vasoline on them for better stay and sound. They were painful with swim cap over them, but ok without cap.

Like many others have experienced per the reviews this player arrived DOA. The unit showed itself to be fully charged when initially plugged into the computer but would it not power up. I left it in for a couple of hours with the green LED glowing thinking it would heal itself but there was no change. This player appears to be a Diver knock off. I'll try the Diver...this unit's going back to Amazon as broke. Stay away from this lemon.

I have an endless pool and this works great. I saw other reviews were they say it doesn't stay on with the current, I haven't experienced that. I've had it for a few months now and it has actually replaced my iPhone as my workout music source because this is way lighter & it is way easier, just put it on your ears clip it to your shirt, turn it on and your ready to go. It stays on your ears better than the headphones that come with the iPhone too. If it looks like rain no worries like with your phone…it's waterproof… sweating… waterproof. Decent price too. I paid $150 for a finis and it just stopped working & the charge was crappy throughout the life of which wasn't very long. This one stays charged a long time too. I use it for several hours a day, several days a week and I go weeks without charging it. I also read bad reviews about the sound underwater and that's not true either it's got fantastic sound.

Good for swimming and is nice and small. Only gripe is the little ear bud protectors come off easily when you are taking off a swimcap. Also wish the volume would go up a bit more. Otherwise, very nice and convenient for keeping entertained while swimming and easy to charge and put music on it.
