Caffe Roma Italia Coffee Beans (1kg)

Since buying our coffee grinder we have tried a few other brand of beans but have preferred these above all others. I don't profess to be a barista but the beans are great for grinding finely. The coffee is not too bitter and when we have friends or family round they always comment on "posh" we are to have such nice freshly ground coffee.Great product and price all with prompt delivery too.

I am very pleased with this product, it is very very nice! I made the grind a little too fine, but it still tastes nice and has a nice caffeine kick. With the correct grind this is really nice. The beans are rich and oily, and are just nice to look at, and they give a lovely aroma. These beans will go straight in the freezer, yum!

Coffee is pretty good for this price point- good flavour, not very dark or strong and works well in my bean to cup machine (Jura). Postage at more than 60% of the product cost is a problem (better if you buy two - or even better for >6 etc).I would hope a - "Buy 3 and get free postage, or subscribe to the Amazon Prime scheme" would come in the future.

Used these beans in my DeLonghi coffee machine and can only say it makes the worst coffee I have ever tasted. On the lowest setting it is far too strong and now I am stuck with a kg of beans I cannot use.

Of course personal taste is everything. These are good beans if you like a full body flavour. I like my coffee to be bold and on the strong side (too strong most would say). I had not heard of this brand and in the past had been disappointed by more famous brands of coffee beans as I had found them a bit 'one dimensional' - if you know what I mean. However as soon as I opened these beans and smelled the aroma I suspected I was in for a treat.I use a grinder and grind to a fine powered I use a very simple 15 bar espresso machine and obtain a good crema. I must admit my coffee consumption has gone up a little since buying these beans.I have bought beans at double the price of these and have expected better. At less than £8 a kilo these beans are amazing and I shall certainly be buying these again.

I usually buy Starbucks coffee from Costco, but they seemed to have stopped selling it, so I've been looking about for something different. Based on the reviews from here, I ordered this coffee and its quite pleasant, has a wee bit of a bitter aftertaste and at the moment I'm comparing it to other coffee I've nicked from my mate, he gave me some of the coffee in a big blue bag from Costco, can't remember what it's called.On balance I think I prefer the big blue bag from Costco, but I'm almost finished that, so will be reverting back to this coffee after that and will update this review once I've gone back to it.The delivery costs are a bit silly >50% of the price of the coffee, but overall it's not too dear

I have been buying these coffee beans for some time now. It's a quality product, priced at the equivalent of the very cheapest, low grade, own-label beans in a supermarket.As delivery is £5, regardless of quantity, I buy 4 x 1 kg bags or more at a time, which reduces the average shipping cost per bag.Delivery is always very rapid, usually next day.

This is a very reasonable coffee. It has a very pleasant aroma and rich flavour. The three caffeine drinkers in the house really enjoy it.
