If you want all the special features that 2005 dvd double disc offered, then you don't want this..This only has deleted scenes. That's it. Plus this Bluray disc has glitching at beginning when you first load disc on PS3 and ps4 players ..it skips the main menu straight to movie..But movie plays fine..I'm kinda disappointed that a brand new disc does this. I played on my regular Bluray player it loads up with no problems. So for those that play your movies on ps3 and ps4 just beware.

For Fans Only
I rented this film hoping to watch it and be frightened. Wrong turn on my part. I know this movie is part of a popular franchise with characters that have achieved a certain iconic status, but to me it's amateur filmmaking with a larger than normal budget and above average production values. There were moments of interest and humor that showed it had the potential to be an entertaining film, maybe as a spoof or tongue in cheek parody of the genre, but it had to constantly veer into sadistic mean spiritedness and graphic violence as though adhering to a formula designed to satisfy the fan base. I give Rob Zombie credit for his ability to strike just the right cinematic notes and his skill in manipulating tonality, but I personally find the results disharmonious.

these are just plain bad people inflicting their evil
One thing about all the hype surrounding Rob Zombie's movies, he is a visionary...his movies are over the top in every way, but always stay true to his intended themes...which in this case would appear to be wanton and out of control violence and mayhem. To that end this film succeeds in spades...there is no underlying sociologically redeeming message, no hidden cause for such abhorrent behaviour...these are just plain bad people inflicting their evil; on an unsuspecting world with glee...the sheriff shows us what this behaviour manifests as in folks with any sense of a moral compass...it overwhelms and corrupts any person with a soul...but then some people just don't seem to have a soul...

Almost a 4-Star Film, but...
Some things just don't make sense. I get that this is just fiction, but seriously! The debauchery that ensues in this film just doesn't make sense to me. SEMI-SPOILER ALERT: For instance, when the 3 villains are tied up and the house is set on fire, it takes the house (and the villains) forever to burn up. YET, after the 3 villains are rescued still half alive, the house just goes up in flames right after they're removed from the house. I was WTFing. There are quite a few scenes in this movie that just make you roll your eyes like, "Yeah, what?! That is so full of [$4!7]!!!" But, that is just my own opinion of this movie. I watched it because it had good ratings (4.5 stars, I think). It's also a sequel/chapter to House of 1000 Corpses, and then there is a followup movie(chapter) to this movie called Three From Hell. If you're going to watch this movie, push pause on common logic because this movie is filled with a lot of WTF moments--I guess that is typical of Rob Zombie movies (???).

Human Evil
This is my favorite horror movie except for John Carpenter's Halloween. The acting is superb for what Rob Zombie tries to encompass, which is the essence of human evil. What really surprised me were the great actors that were well known. The soundtrack, if paid attention correctly, goes perfect with what is going on in the film. Every time I watch this movie I don't know if I can take it, for it really delivers the chills. Ultimately the evil is exterminated and in the last scene Freebird plays in perfect harmony with the action. Sometimes I wonder how brilliantly twisted Rob Zombie was in making this particular film! I have never seen another film that Zombie made that can equal this one.

Edge of your seat excellence!
This was my fourth time watching this movie. It has stayed interesting and presented something new every time. It's very intense and gory. I am warning you, if you can't handle senseless gore then you shouldn't be watching this! The movie flows well and keeps your attention to the end. You'll develop an unhealthy fondness for the characters.Again, don't watch this movie if you can't handle extreme violence. You've been warned twice! Don't go leaving a bad review just because you can't handle it.

Great Movie, But Lionsgate Blu's Seem To Be Rotting
I bought this film, along with HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES on blu-ray 9 years ago. I watched and enjoyed them on more than one occasion. Tonight my wife wanted to watch them so I inserted the disc into our player and neither movie would play. Our players (i tried 3 separate drives) treated them like they were blank discs. There are no visible scratches, bronzing, or apparent disc rot. They're just coasters now. Lionsgate doesn't appear to still have a home video department that one could contact. I googled the problem and found forums listing both discs as problematic, but could find nothing about Lionsgate ever recalling the discs or citing an issue with their manufacturer. I suppose I got my money's worth, but their shelf life should be considerably longer. If you're going to buy either of these films, be sure to look for a more recently published edition.

The Devils Rejects. R1 unrated Directors cut.The widescreen 1.85:1 picture quality isvery good. It's a grimy, funny, dirty hostage picture, with a depraved cuckoo nest family as theprotagonists. You also get a cast that readslike a who's who of cult films. Not a film foreveryone, but it remains very likeable. This two disc package comes with a wealthof extras. Extras: disc 1: commentary &a LOAD of other stuff (can't be typing it all, trust me, you get your moneys worth.)Disc 2: 30 Days in Hell (making of) whichis 144mins long, yeah, i thought i read thedisc wrong, but that's what it reads.Film run time: 1hr 50min 47sec. 2005

Better ...
Baby is definitely one of my favourite "villains". I think this is the best of the three but I personally like the third installment best. If you like horror, this is a must for any fan.
