Bubble Guppies My First Puzzle Book Board book – March 1, 2013

This book has proven to be an excellent potty training tool! Our 19 month old daughter loves bubble guppies, so for a little incentive to want to use the potty, we purchased this. She has the summer infant toilet (it looks exactly like a real toilet but smaller), and we put these characters in the back storage compartment and the book next to her toilet. She is only allowed to play with this on the potty (we set up her little tray in front of her), and it has sure given her incentive to use the potty! After one weekend of potty training she is now doing #2 on the potty! She looks forward to using the potty so she can play with her bubble guppies busy book! She loves mickey mouse too ,so we will be purchasing that one next, because she LOVES this busy book. The figurines are cute and we have not had any heads pop off. The figurines are small, so adult supervision is a must for toddlers, to prevent choking. We also took the two little fish out before giving this to her, as they are extremely small compared to the others, too small for a toddler. Overall great product/toy and the super big playmat (about 3 feet by 3 feet) is an extra plus! UPDATE: my daughters favorite bubble guppie is Gil. And unfortunately Gil's head popped off! Instead of buying another set like many other reviewers stated they did after some of the heads popped off, I simply used a dab of super glue, and it's holding up nicely! It's been a few days and his head is still attached lol! So for reference, if a head pops off, all you need is a dab of super glue and it will be good as new!

One love from me and another from my daughter. I purchased this for my 13 month old but unfortunately, it's for ages 3+. I wouldn't have purchased it if the age recommendation had been in the product description. However, I still let her play with it because it's just so darn cute...and she loves it!The figurines are small...on avg. about 2 inches tall. There are a few that I do not my give to my daughter (the little fishies because they're smaller and the flower/scenery figures because they're boring for her). The other figurines I let her play with but watch her like a hawk. Whenever I put them away, she complains. And if she see's the book on a shelf out of her reach, she points and asks for it. She absolutely loves this book.We haven't used the mat yet cuz she's still too young and doesn't get it.The only thing I don't understand is, why is Mr. Grouper so small? He's maybe an inch to an inch and a half. He's smaller than the other characters. Weird.

Great price for the figures and play mat. I always get a new busy book for vacations. A new toy to play with that’s easy to pack up and store. Have had this for over two years and they still play with it

My daughter LOVES these busy books. The little "people" that come with them are her favorite part. Buying the figurines on their own is going to cost you more than just buying this book. They are usually cheaper at stores, especially TJ Max, BUT she asked for Bubble Guppies specifically and this is the only place to find it. The playmat that comes with it is large too. It's also nice that when the kids are done playing all of it stores right back inside the book.The figurines are about the height of a $0.50 piece or a quarter. If your children like to put things in their mouth, I would just be careful with that.You can read the book and play along with the figures or play with all of it separately. These books keep my 3 year old busy for hours.

I bought this for my 3 year old's birthday. I used the figures for her cake and then washed them, so she can play with them as intended. They worked decent for the cake, but fell over multiple times and got a little frustrating, but as they are technically not cake decorations, I can't complain much about that. However, quite a few of the figures don't stand up well/constantly fall and the book/story is pretty simplistic, so that was disappointing. Nonetheless, my daughter loves the mat and playing with the figurines, so overall its a win!

My 2 year old daughter loves the Bubble Guppies and loves her new busy book! Keeps the entertained and creative mind working! The map is a bit like an oragami to fold up, I wish Mr. Grouper was a bit bigger and some of the colors on the figurines are a bit too light/dark. Double check to make sure you have all 12 figures, I had to exchange my Paw Patrol busy book I bought at the same time because it was missing a pup. Overall great price and keeps my daughter entertained.

My 3 year old discovered bubble guppies, and they are her new favorite. This book was a great deal. It comes with little figures and a playmat. The board book is sturdy. The figures are small, particularly Mister Grouper, Bubble Puppy and the little gold fish. If your little one puts things in their mouth, I'd skip this. The figures are small enough for her to carry around in her little purse, and she likes to play with them with other various playsets and vehicles. I will probably purchase this again, in order to have a set to decorate her birthday cake in July. The figures are the perfect size for cake toppers.

The only durable ones are Molly, the tiny fish Bubble Puppy, and Mr Grouper. The others have very small necks and their heads are easily broken off. I have tried everything to glue them back together and have had no luck!(if anyone had had any, let me know!)However, they are adorable. My daughter loves playing with them. They make great cake toppers, except Mr Grouper. He's oddly small!
