these are gifts for Fathers Day at our church. One of the deacons suggested these. I had never heard of them

These are exactly as I remember. Yes, it’s cold out here in the Midwest so some in the package came broken into a few pieces. But if you know anything about this candy, you know it gets hard when it’s cold but it warms and turns into chewy taffy in your mouth. It’s been sitting at room temp and they’re nice and bendy now. I actually prefer to break it up before opening because I don’t love biting pieces off a warmed up bar. So I usually stick it in the refrigerator if it’s too warm. My expiration date on the box is November this year but I doubt that will be a problem. The box came wrapped in plastic and though the cardboard was dented/creased, the perforations were intact. So happy to find this on Amazon. These are not sold in stores out here.

When I was a young girl visiting my grandparents in Texas, my grandfather would take me to the store and I could take my pick of any candy on the shelves - but only one. I always picked the Big Hunk. It was my favorite then, and it is still true today. I am not sure if this candy company had the same crazy agreement that Coors did back in the day, but it is really hard to find Big Hunks in the Southeast. I ordered these and every single bite was yummy - chewy and not too hard. I bought a case of them, and I have nearly eaten the whole box by myself. My dad and I shared this love of the Big Hunk bar, but sadly, he passed away just before my candy arrived. I sure wish he had been here to help me eat them. My hips and belly do not share my love (obsession) for Big Hunk candy bars.

My husband loves these.

The only bad thing about these Big Hunks is that I want to eat them all at once.

Delicious taffy style candy with peanuts. Vanilla flavor and great to suck on.

As time has passed it’s getting harder to find this candy in stores. So I surprised my husband w/this big box of them. He was in lala land lol

Big hunk satisfy all the sweet craving with a rich soft textured nougat. The item came packaged in plastic wrap and a box, the candy bars are individually wrapped. You can see that the candy bars are stored properly and fresh because the candy bars were not deformed.

Amazing candy bars. Have bought a few boxes and each has been fresh and delicious.
