May Arts3/8-Inch Wide Ribbon, Gold Metallic Velvet

This ribbon is exactly as the ad describes. I would mention that it is a darker red than what shows up in the image. Glitter does not come off the ribbon as I think the metallic shimmer is from fiber- but it looks just like glitter! For gift wrapping I would suggest a wider ribbon, however. Great item. I have loved all the May Arts ribbons.

The color is very pretty and the ribbon is very pliable but you can't do anything with this ribbon without leaving trails of glitter. Also, the ribbon is a little thicker than I expected. Like as thick as velvet fabric.

I thot I had already reviewed this -- I bought this to use as a ribbon to hang an ornament on and I wanted silver & sparkley! I honestly couldn't figure out how velvet- I couldn't figure out how "velvet' and 'metalic' would mix, but they DO! NICE!!!!
