Solid & well-built
Seems solid and well-builtThis chair was well packaged and in good shape on arrival. The painted steel frame is solid and operates well, but because it's steel and not the aluminum type I'd been used to, it's fairly heavy, weighing in at about 13 lb. Adjusting the reclining back (5 positions) is easy with the hefty notches that fit over the pin. The seat itself is about 9" off the ground, weight capacity is 240 lb.I've seen several reviews that state that the frame rusts internally if left out in the weather, but that won't be a problem for me since it's only out when I'm using it. Otherwise, it's stored outdoors, but under cover. The rivets were all straight the arms are fastened well with three screws each, and the webbing is solidly attached. The comfortable wooden arms are good quality hardwood. They are either unfinished or VERY lightly coated, it's hard to tell. It's a comfortable lounger, and the only drawback I see is that the webbing is very slippery and I tend to slide down in it. I usually have a towel draped over my chair, so I'm hoping that will help the issue somewhat, and that over time, the slippery surface sheen will wear off. This is the reason for my 4-star rating. (Not a deal-breaker, but the webbing is made from polypropylene, which has poor UV resistance, so it would be best to store this out of the sun. Most chairs of this type have that kind of webbing.)I would recommend it.See my added picture with the dimensions labeled.Update: After further use, I am rating this at 5 stars, instead of 4. It's a very comfortable chair, the mechanism and folding hinges work great, and the slippery poly is not a problem with a towel spread on it. Very pleased to find this style chair.Further update May, 2016: After a year of fairly heavy warm-weather use, this is still just about as good as new. The strapping is still quite slippery, but covered with a towel, this isn't such a problem. Still pleased.

We slide right off of it, actually feels like it was coated with Teflon!
Regardless of what we are wearing or what position this chase is in we slide right off it. Ya have to keep pulling yourself up into it and I'm not making this up, why would I. If ya keep one foot on the floor you can lounge no problem but that's not exactly what I had in mind for a lounge chair. It actually feels like it was coated with Teflon. Do yourself a favor and skip this chair because the company obviously changed their manufacturing process.

Poor quality webbing
The frame is Sturdy and the chair is comfortable but after one season, the webbing is completely disintegrating. Will purchase a repair kit but resent having to do so

Super nice lounge.
It might LOOK like the old style lounge chair from the 60's, but look closer. This is a much nicer lounge --- the webbing is softer and wider, the frame is sturdier and heavier, and the arm rests are nice wood. Love this chair. Very comfy.

beautiful chaise lounge
Seller sent it right away. Chaise lounge was very sturdy and in great (new) condition. However, I was unable to keep it due to a permanently injured shoulder didn't allow me to be able to get out of chair without help all the time.Sadly, I had to send it back.

My favorite patio chaise lounges
These are very well made. I have a bad back and I have found that the chairs with the webbing are much more comfortable than other chaise lounges. They look more expensive than they are too.

Not my favorite chaise
Not thrilled with this chair. The arms are thinner than expected, so it is very uncomfortable to put your arms on.It is also low to the ground. Would not buy again.

Four Stars
Nice but heavy, and doesn't fold down when bottom is extended.
