This crank allows you to quickly replace strings on most any stringed instrument, other than perhaps a harp or piano. I've used it a couple of times on my Gibson Les Paul and it works great.

Adequate!

Not fancy but does the job!

It has a few shortcomings mostly with the size of the part that fits over the tuning button. First, it doesn't fit snuggly enough around the tuning button so that it flops around and frequently slips off when turning. It's too wide so often that it hits the adjacent keys when turning. It's not deep enough so that the handle also hits the adjacent keys.

For a cost effective item this produce was not only well built but also functioned great. I’ve already restrung 3 guitars with zero issues and no signs of ware.

A little qualification is needed with this review. I received the string winder at a great price and it was delivered on time. However, I haven't used it yet. So, why am I giving it a 5 star review? It is a fairly simple device that appears to be well made. More importantly, it will encourage me to change my guitar strings more frequently (every 1-2 months), as it simplifies and speeds up the string replacement process. I will give an update after I use it...in about 1-2 months!
