Dorman 45330: Window Guides

These did allow me to repair my 1987 GMC pickup window. I've been tasked with maintenance on this older truck for at least 10 years, and this marks the 3rd window repair I've done. Truth is, these are fiddly to fit, not very sturdy, and don't seem to exactly match the dimensions of the originals. But it seems the original GM part is also no longer available, so I'm glad these are. My advice: if you need 2 pieces, buy 4. Chances are good you'll damage one trying to get everything working. If you have to open the door panel, grease all the rollers and slides with lithium grease, smooth out any rough spots in the rubber track with a nail file or very fine sandpaper, and apply silicone spray lubricant to the rubber tracks and metal parts inside the window channel. Anything hanging up in any of those areas is likely to cause these clips to pull back out of the window guide track.

They fit really tight on my window and worked perfect. they are hard to snap together but with some force mine snapped one now my window works like new. my window takes two for each window on a standard cab truck.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Said it would fit a 1991 s10 but was no where close. The hole was the first issue I noticed so I grabbed my knife and carved out the extra plastic so the ball can go through it. Then when trying to clasp it I noticed my OEM window was too thick and the ball was no where close to clicking into each other. Would not recommend if you don’t want to jb weld or get some sort of epoxy on your window

Bought these to repair broken guides on my 1993 Cheney S10 drivers side window and they worked fine.

There are some ridges along the center section. Without filing them down to fit (at least on my '87 S10) they will not work. We ruined one before we found this out.Once you trim to fit, they pop right on and work fine.

Made in china, plastic, it was tight trying to fit on my 89 s10, once i got it on it worked for about a week they it poped off

It fit my Chevrolet S10 window keeps it on track.

Junk. Does not fit. Breaks at hinge. Cannot be clamped in place. Poorly made. Maybe the tooling is old, worn out.
