Fantastic for first time growers
I ordered these in late April. Followed the advice given to soak the roots etc .At this point can I say that I am a complete novice with gardening in general and particularly strawberries I e. I have NEVER attempted to grow them before. My only experience was with some potatoes and carrots which I planted last year with some success but found that snails were a problem.Using what little common sense which I possess I thought that I would grow the strawbs in containers and keep then off the ground ( I made a little platform from a section of fencing to keep them off the ground I left the 3 containers on a paved area too in my attempts to thwart the slugs, snails etcI was careful to put them in a sunny area.Within 2 weeks I had signs of growth from ALL rootsIt is now 17th July and to date I have been picking on average 6-8 big fat ,juicy sweet strawberries every other day. My running total to date is 43 perfectly shaped, very large ( almost golf ball size) very tasty fruits. Other than water them when we had a run of dry hot days the only other thing I have done was a little shot of diluted tomato feedI estimate there are around 20 green berries and at least 10 which I intend to pick over the next 2 daysMaybe it is simply beginners luck but taking my amateurish efforts into account then I strongly feel that the plants must be very well bred.I live outside Glasgow so it's not as if I can say its down to the climate.I would reccomend this seller 100%.P.s. I didn't even know the right ratio of soil/ sand to compost so I guess I was just lucky.I will attempt to get them through the winter but if as I suspect I get it wrong then I am definitely going to buy more plants around February/ March next year.Good luck & good health to you allUpdated 22/5/21Much to my surprise all my plants survived the winter and have actually now transformed into 9 plants from the 5 initially planted. All looking very healthy and strong so no reason to doubt a bumper crop this year. No special treatment done to get them over the winter other than cutting back a little and a wee splash of tepid water when it was frosty to offset the cold.Very happy customer.

Strawberry plants
Was very disappointed when they arrived looked very dried out and I didn’t think they’d survive, soaked them in a jug of water for 24 hours then planted out.To my surprise the very next day they were showing signs of shooting and have continued to thrive

Discraceful from every aspect
Plants were the poorest I've ever seen only fit for the compost bin.Yellow dead leaves tiny plants bone dry roots poorly packaged in cheap sandwich bags.I purchased 16 plants 3 varieties and they crammed them in a letter sized box so work out for yourselves as to how small they were.Asked for a refund and 4 or 5 different people gave the same unsatisfactory response which was plant them and wait 2 weeks. They were not worth the money and not as described.Terrible seller, terrible customer service. My advice would be avoid this seller and check other simular reviews I'm not the only customer not satisfied.

3 out of 5 are great
3 out of the 5 arrived in great condition and are already growing nicely. 2 were black and sort on arrival,I planted them out but there is no sign of growth. Unfortunately I don't think there will be hence the 3 star review.

Plants are thriving :) very happy with purchase
I bought these strawberry plants after realising growing them from seed would take too much faffing about and Iv never grown anything before to be honest. I potted them without really soaking the roots for as long as I should as I was so tired and I really needed to go to bed. Iv kept them inside in the warm as I purchased them in February. All are thriving and look healthy and happy. So hopefully this summer I will be munching on some lovely strawberries from my garden instead of spending too much on strawberries from Asda which are covered in nasty pesticides. Would definitely buy again from this seller and the packaging was great too!

Healthy plants
Arrived healthy and planted the same day. Within a week they have started to grow. I'm hoping for late strawberries with these plants.
