Art Blakey Drum Sticks

For several years, I've been using Calato 5A Regal Tip sticks because I liked the articulation that the nylon tip provides on cymbal work. However, I recently purchased the Bop Works Art Blakey model and after about a week or so of getting used to them, they are now my absolute favorite pair of sticks. These sticks have great cymbal articulation with a broad spread in the cymbal overtones and wonderful rebound. Because they are lighter and thinner than what I've been using for years, I find that I am able to increase my speed, not tire as easily in my grip and forearms, and to play at a constant level level of drive and volume for hours at a time. Wonderful, durable set of sticks!

Bought for by son, he absolutely loves these sticks. Packaging was even pretty great they way the sticks were wrapped.

These sticks are wonderful, the tips draw a nice complex sound out of cymbals, and the overall balance is perfect.
