We've got bats
We bought it last Fall after the freetails migrated back to Mexico, so we watched it closely this Spring when they returned...we now have 20 bats leaving the house nightly at dusk. As recommended we put the pole 15 feet from the nearest structure and trees.

Mediocre Bat House
I was disappointed in this bat house. It seems more like pressed board and the stain is not the greatest. We've had it up a few months now and have not had any bats nest. We are hoping they will find it next year, if the house holds up that long.
