Bora 812 Multi-Angle Aluminum/Stainless Square

Met all my expectations. Positively locks into preset degree inclines. Very square at 90 degrees as checked with digital bevel gage and woodpeckers square. Blade has satin finish that appears rust proof and has rounded sides. That is a very nice touch!Doesn't not open 180 degrees, just 157.5 or so. Operation is very stiff but might ease with time. It has hard bushing like nylon washers on either side of the blade with detents to click the blade every 22.5 degrees. It is non adjustable to loosen or tighten this mechanism.Would be nice if it opened 180 degrees to extend ruler length for marking straight lines but that is minor concern. This is definitely the best design I have seen or used. I did see a blue look alike version of this on TV once but can not find the product or what company made it anywhere.This is the best multi angle square to get if you want goof proof accuracy of common angles.

Quality made tool, provides accurate multiple angles. I also purchased the magnetic combination square; had a slight problem with it and the company rushed me a replacement. Good company, I think they are made in Sweden which would explain the clever design..

Great square! I've been wood working for 12 yrs now, this is the BEST square I have ever owned. Very strong and durable. Have only owned a couple of months, but I use and abuse this thing and it hasn't let me down. I was afraid the tension would weaken as I open and closed it, but it's as tight as the day I got it. Highly recommend.

It's clever, functional and nicely proportioned for use in the shop while looking good. I reread all the reviews and I guess I don't know how far off 5 hundredths of a degree is. Having multiple accurate squares to compare it too, I keep getting the same results, it's not accurately square. For the money I don't know what to expect.Deciding if I should keep it, get a replacement or call it excellent for the money.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the open / angle mechanism is very stiff and is not adjustable. Might be possible with a light lubricant but did not want to test and risk not being able to return it.Blade is quite thin. Combine these two and continually fighting mechanism to open and close is not worth it.Fit and finish are very good but pivot torque should be adjustable.Value is also questionable. Price should be in low thirty dollar range.Returned It.

Excellent quality and it compares well in accuracy against my engineer's square. It is supposed to retain the accuracy but only time will tell.

Excellent product I would buy it again, and recommend it to anyone who's looking for something like.Works exactly like it should be not much to say about it! A little pricey Way too expensive. But the Perfection has its priceI would recommend to a friend!
