Way better
Put a cheap air filter in my car just for tempory use and the lag when i hit the gas was driving me crazy. I put this in my 2015 chevy impala (only took like 4 minutes to install) and the throttle response is way better. I can tell theres a bit more power nothing crazy but anything is better then nothin. Not sure about gas mileage as i just put it in about 8 hours ago but it is much better product then the others. highly recommend

Breathes Better
Purchased for a New to me 2012 Chevy Impala LTZ 3.6L. First off hard to believe the size and thickness of the Stock Airfilter, Mine was the usual accordion style with another (SMH why ?) piece of foam glued on to it. it was a piece of trickery to even just get it out, Amazing any air was getting through. K&N Filter in comparison super slim, slid in like a duck to water. Impressions; Engine is breathing way better. TIP if you have a Oil life gauge on your instrument panel check its reading before Filter replacement, mine was at Approx 47 %, now reads 95% after Filter change. I did not do the last Oil change on this Vehicle but Oil Change sticker shows atleast another 3K miles until next change, make your own summary. MPG I don't notice any difference but Throttle response is much better, lighter more immediate. HIGHLY Recommend. If nothing else pull out your stock Air Filter and look at it and wonder how efficiently your engine is working with that in place

It's pretty easy and something that I can do myself
I've had this in my car for about two months now. Let me start by giving some background. I drive a 2014 Impala Limited LTZ. I had just gotten past about 40k miles and knew my air filter was probably ready to get changed out. It's pretty easy and something that I can do myself, so I decided to shop online for one. I came across this, and thought, well if nothing else at least I won't have to replace it again, I can just wash it. I popped it into my car. Was kind of annoying, but not because of this air filter. It's just a tight squeeze replacing air filters in my car. Anyway, my expectations were not very high. The box claims more power and better MPG, but unfortunately I just don't think I got either of those. I notice no difference in car sound, no difference in power, and no difference in MPG. Everything pretty much stayed the same. I've been taking note of what my avg MPG has been every fill-up, and it has stayed for the most part the same as my original, used, paper air filter.TL;DR - It's not really worth buying. Honestly I would rather save my money and buy a paper air filter. The thought of having a "better" air filter is nice and all, but when I see no noticeable difference, is it really worth it? Sure, it's washable and "re-usable", but how many air filters do you actually end up buying for your car anyway? I think they recommend avg every 50k miles? It's not like you have to buy a lot of air filters. Also, paper air filters are at LEAST half the price of this here. If you really wanna spend money on something like this, buy a cold air intake. Otherwise I just don't think the fancy filter alone is worth it.Also, take this into consideration when reading reviews. Most of these people talking about more power and better gas mileage are also probably coming from a dirty air filter. Obviously you're going to improve MPG by replacing a dirty air filter. They would likely be getting better MPG with a new paper filter too. Personally, I wasn't coming from a super dirty air filter.

Works awesomely.
Helps get more air into my engine now that I have replaced the resonator with a glass pack and turbo mufflers which let out more exhaust. So this helped balance out the system..

Breathing better
The filter itself is great. Installed it my Impala. Definitely breathing better. I drive a lot of highway and already noticed I picked up about 1.5 miles per gallon in the last 2 weeks. Great buy.

Best Air Filter Around
When I found out the air filter for my Chevy Impala was an odd size, not readily available, I immediately went on Amazon to find a K&N. I'm of fan of K&N filters having had one on my Goldwing for years of trouble free service, and this one fit my Impala perfectly. Take the 50,000 mile cleaning with caution. If you regularly travel dusty or insect swarmed roads, the filter will likely need cleaning in half that mileage. But, to clean and recharge the filter only takes an hour, and then you pop it back in for another umpteen miles. I highly recommend this filter for trouble-free service.

Very happy with it
Fits right, and works. Plus my average gas mileage dropped from 8.4L/100k to 7.8L/100k. Didn't expect that, but very happy with it.
