This appears to be made out of really high quality glass. I know because I dropped it when I took it out of the box and it didn't break. Amazing. Really happy with it.

I really like this teapot.I had some reservations about the short spout. I thought it might encourage spills but it didn't it's really easy to use and I've had no issues with it.The diffuser is great for getting the flavour out of the tea. The water passes through quite slowly and I've discovered that I can use less leaves to get my usual strength of tea! So greater efficiency leads to greater economyIt looks good too. I love the lovely golden colour of the amber liquid in the glass pot. It's become part of the pleasure of a brew up.The one Downside of the water passing through the diffuser so slowly, if you want to fill the pot, you have to let the first lot of water pass through the diffuser before you top it up

A sweet little giftable glass teapot with a nice bamboo lid which has lovely detail to it.The glass teapot, isn't thick, it does look and feel quite delicate. A certain amount of care will be required when it comes to washing. The lid is not dishwasher proof.Any kind of loose tea/green tea could be made in it apart from matcha, unless you dont mind drinking the matcha powder. I don't mind so it perfect to be able to hain the benefit from the whole powdered leaf.I received one without the metal springy filter on the spout, this makes mine unsuitable for teabags and fruit teas unless they're loose leaf.3 starsEven as a memeber of the Vine, you will notice from my past reviews, I don't necessarily leave positive feedback for products. I really judge the item for it's true worth.As I, as a consumer, would also want to read good, HONEST reviews for my purchases.There's nothing worse than feeling disgruntled because you've bought something on the strength of reviews and when it arrives you realise you've made the wrong decision. Especially I this time of plastic over-use.As such, I am happy to answer any more questions you may have before you decide on this product.

Nice looking infuser teapot. Turns making a cup of tea into a bit of a process while it filters through and brews but it's interesting to watch it all happening through the glass and it makes it easier to time it just right depending on the colour. Seems fragile but hopefully it will withstand the vigours of a 'many cups a day' family.

I was pleasantly surprised with this infuser; made from strong glass, it's simple lines makes it look expensive and quite classy; I am a serious caffeine addict and drink loads of the stuff at work so I've taken this into the office to try to encourage myself to be a little more health conscious. My colleagues are all impressed with it and we are now taking turns to bring in different fruits and herbs to try. Definitely worth the money and great health benefits too.

Made from a good quality light crystal style glass. Comes complete with a bamboo lid which has an integrated silicone seal to keep it secure at all times. The one I received did not come with stopper to fit over the spout to prevent teabags etc from being poured. Overall a well made real glass teapot which is well priced.

Umami Infuser is ideal for making a good cup of tea with leaves. I haven’t tried to infuse fruit yet, but I have ordered lemons with my weekly shop so I can give it a go as its coming to cold season so this may just save me yet. The styling is so well done and nice, the glass is very good quality and it arrived so well packaged it took a while to get into and I was immediately impressed when I pulled it out of the box. The wooden lid is a very nice shade and just adds to the whole look. I have started using this just as a tea pot in the morning, just for ease of use and it’s still amazing. I know that a bunch of people will be getting this as a Christmas present as I know so many people who love a good cuppa/infusion. I already plan to order one for an American friend as she loves this type of thing.
