Tandy Leather Dr. Jackson's Hide Rejuvenator 21978-00

Puts new life back into leather. Saddle bags, boots and jackets eat this stuff up and look years newer. I can't say enough good things about this.

I can simply echo the other reviews of this product. I have a number of leather conditioning products, which work well on new or still supple leather for conditioning and maintaining it. Lately I have purchased a number of leather items (belts, holsters) that range from about 40 to 70 years old. Many of them were dried out and stiff and some hard as cardboard from storage in attics, etc. I tried this based on the reviews and it is super for restoring old, dried out leather!! The best of anything I have used. This product renewed them to a luster and useable suppleness. It didn't turn the very hard pieces into soft and supple kid leather, but it did soften them so that they are useable. It won't bring back completely deteriorated, cracked, and crumbling leather -- it doesn't work miracles of bringing Lazarus back from the dead. However, it will restore vitality in the still partially living! A note -- for valuable old antique leather products, you might check with a conservator as to the best way of preserving them so as not to inadvertently degrade them or decrease the value before using this or another product. For anything that you want to restore to be useable this stuff is great! I've used it on new leather as a conditioner. Note it does darken the leather, but for me it adds to the character. I'm ordering my third canister to make sure I have a supply on hand as needed.

I used only anout 1/4 of jar on 5 leather coats ( 3 were full length very long ) that looked horrible in white looking mold from being in damp storage facility for 4 years and 18 pairs of shoes of different colors. All look very good.NOTE i purchased $1.00 pair of gloves for applying and afterwards my hands unbelievably soft Highly reommend and will certainly buy again if it ever is used up.

I've used this product several times. I live in Vegas and the air is very dry. This product really helps revitalize my leather sofa.

I've used this product over 30 years on everything from resurrecting dead softball gloves to pounding a few more years out of old hunting boots. I was skeptical when ordering because I was afraid something new might be in the jar labeled with an old familiar name. This product pours new life into leather that may have ended up in the scrap pile without it. It rejuvenates any old, dry leather miracously and is the same product it used to be. Probably not what you'd want on a dress coat but for active wear, sporting goods, work wear etc. it can't be beat.

I use this product on my leather couch. It cleans and shines and dries quickly. Excellent product. I bought my first jar from a leather goods company that went out of business. I was delighted to find it on Amazon. I will order it again.

I purchased a used cap with a leather strap on the back on eBay and when I received it could tell the leather was not in perfect condition. Purchased this product after finding out about it on a YouTube video and it worked wonders. It did darken the light brown leather quite a bit, but I actually like it better with a darker finish. the leather is smooth now and looks/feels great!

I have used this for years. My Ex wife did leatherwork and was very suprized as to how well this works in many different ways. To bring back an old coat that has been sitting, use good amounts as you go and let it sit. Reapply as you see fit. the longer it sits, the softer and more lustrious it becomes. Used it on a set of Chapps that had ben sitting for a couple of years, brought them right back!!! Good for all leathers execpt sweade.
