Definitely not the first choice
Its quite a good book only if you are interested in Thor, Asgard, Odin, Bifrost, Nidavellir and other factionary places. Otherwise it will bore you for sure. The stories are not very clear too!!

Pas top pour les jeunes enfants
Les histoires sont chouettes et les illustrations sont cools mais c'est de la mythologique nordique, donc ça décapite et ça démembre toutes les 2 pages. Pas idéal pour les enfants.

Americanised and more dialogue than story telling.
As a Scandinavian I was very disappointed.. This is written so weirdly! Instead of telling the stories as they should be told, it feels Americanised (think paw patrol books of minimal literary value) and dialogue driven which makes it difficult to read and totally wrecks the stories. Wish I sent it back when I still could.

They sure like to fight alot ....
If you want to teach your kid about the back stories of your favorite Avengers characters - Thor and Loki - then this book's for you! This book does a nice job in narrating some of the more famous stories of the Norse gods and their adversaries. There is some sense that they engage in trouble and fights for no particular reason other than getting a rise out of their enemies. You be the judge though. Compared to Usborne's Greek Myths, the Norse Myths book does not have as many illustrations. We're big fans of the Greek Myths book in my house. The Norse Myths is a wonderful addition.

Great book for children
My twin 6 year old boys and I are really enjoying these great Norse tales. What the book lacks in the quantity of pictures is made up for with some well written, fun, quirky and intrepid adventures.

Well-written, nice solid binding, good for children
I read this with my 7 yr old and the level was just right. A little challenging with the vocabulary, not too much though, and well-written, well illustrated, thoroughly entertaining. It was lots of fun to read and almost all the classic north myths are there. We especially enjoyed learning about Loki's children, and of course, Ragnarok.
