The Quant exhibit at the V&A took place during/right after Covid and I hoped hoped hoped it would travel intact to the States where I and thousands I’m sure would be able to see it. But alas… the catalog will have to do and it truly is comprehensive and quite a good second prize. First-rate essays, great photos and realia fill out the story we all think you know and now you will. Beautiful design as one would expect from the premiere fashion institution, meant to be read and studied; no funny stuff with wacky graphics. Complete with index and bibliography and oh so many juicy images.

A very good book covering the Mary Quant exhibition at Victoria and Albert
When in London recently I attended the Mary Quant Exhibition at the V & A. She revolutionized fashion for women. It was excellent. This book is a very good presentation on her story. Great pictures of her creations over her career.

The Mary Quant bible
I saw the Mary Quant V&A exhibition at the Kelvingrove art gallery in July and wanted to buy this book in the gift shop to learn more about the designer and her clothing ranges... as we were travelling around carrying a heavy book wasn't feasible so bought it online as soon as we returned home. Have only managed to flick through it so far, but looking forward to reading it properly soon.

Great,hardback book,beautifully illustrated with retro pics as well as later ones and the story of 60s Mod icon Mary Quant. If you want the full biography of this wonderful lady,buy this.
