Great for buisness
I've always been a Mac person, but for business needs, I needed a computer that ran on windows. I researched and visited many stores that sell computers, but non that I saw seemed to meet my needs. I felt like many computers now are only focused on graphics, cool features, and cool looks. It wasn't until I went to my local Fry's electronic store that I found this laptop on sale! Fry's was offering free 3 year warranty on the purchase of this laptop! I wasn't just interested in the price, because it was almost $1k , but I saw it and it looked simple and professional. Once the associate started telling me about the processing power this laptop has, I was sold!I've had this laptop now for about 5 months and I have not had any issues with it. I use everyday with heavy mutli-tasking use : Accounting software, emailing, and Construction estimating softwares. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I recommend this for business use!

Bad USB Port/ hardware problems
Caution: be wary of purchasing this computer. Major hardware problems occurred when trying to set up. After several hours-long calls with Dell technical support I was told the issue was with a damaged motherboard, so I had to return it. Curious to know if this issue has been a widespread problem with this model, I suggest looking into it before considering a purchase. Huge headache and disappointment.

Meh, its okay. You get what you pay for
Meh, its okay, the battery goes down pretty fast. I do have some graphic software running and youtube, so Im sure that affects it, but i was hoping the battery would be more durable. The audio has an issue with the headphones, it makes a crackling noise , the speakers are fine, the the headphone settings are just weird. i guess for the price, you get what you pay for. // Several months later the audio seemed to fix itself, there was a prompt asking what type of headphones to use, so thats good

fast, quiet and light
I use this computer for work, documents, spreadsheets, network analysis, graphics, and creating videos. The computer is all that I'd hoped it would be, except for the built-in monitor. Very low quality and somewhat disappointed with it. I should've paid double and got the Dell Alienware for the better video quality.

I have been a Dell user for 20+ years and I've yet to be disappointed
and my laptop arrived two days early... huge bonus!

Great laptop but the battery is awful
My two year old cheap Acer was unable to perform basic functions anymore so I decided to splurge on something with triple the RAM and a better processor. This computer is super fast and very efficient. I like that it's lightweight and slim as well. But oh lordy the battery sucks. Dell really dropped the ball on this one. I only use this for web browsing, no special programs that would drain the battery, and I still can only get 3 hours max out of a full charge. If you keep it at your desk and near a charger then it's fine, but if you like to move from room to room, be sure to throw it back on the charger regularly or look for a better battery life laptop.

Beware - BAD Customer Experience/Screen Crashed After 6 Weeks of Use
Unbelievable. Screen crashed after 6 weeks of use. Received on April 14, crashed on June 4...which was 4 days after the return window ended (amazing that). After requesting help/return/even exchange from seller, they "cheerfully" ignored my requests because the "return window closed". I was also politely reminded it was Amazon's extended window. Needless to say, the very least they could have done is suggest a solution I could do at home. Tried everything from reinstalling drivers, complete factory reset, reinstalling windows and nothing helps. Will take to a computer repairperson but have my doubts. Feel I have a $900 boat anchor. Most appalling is lack of customer satisfaction - my advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER. THEY DO NOT BACK WHAT THEY SELL.

LOVE this laptop - would buy it again.
I had to buy a replacement laptop since I just retired and had to return my work laptop (I'm a software developer). I researched and researched and finally selected this one. I ordered it on a Friday May 1 and it arrived the next Tue May 5 - very fast. I did the initial set up right after I got it - took about an hour - basically setting up internet connection and login security code if you want one and connection to Microsoft. Anyway, so far I am LOVING it. I I basically use it to shop, facebook including candy crush and WWF, email, general browsing and searching. I am very satisfied so far. It is very fast ... comes on in seconds, connects to internet in seconds, & turns off in seconds. And the display is crisp and clear. I put 5 stars on battery life but I keep it plugged in all of the time so really don't know,
