BANDAI 7-11 Exclusive HG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam G30th 7-11 Color Version (Japan Import)

The kit itself is pretty much a standard Gundam kit so there isn't much to say about that besides it's great. It was shipped faster than I expected and was in perfect shape when it got to me, no damage or anything.

A very easy and fun build

My experience with this item was similar to the previous reviewer; in terms of packaging, this thing was really beat up when it got to me. The box was dented all over and there was a cut along one side of the package (maybe customs had to check it? No idea). When I took the actual kit out (which was in bubble wrap, thank god), it had a sizable dent but everything inside was intact. Pieces were all there, attached to their trays inside unbroken plastic packaging, and it appeared they were in good condition. My advice would be, be careful who you purchase this from if you don't want your package looking like it survived the Running of the Bulls. (Not sure if this depends on the seller--my seller was 777-Japan--or if it is commonplace when having things shipped all the way from Japan. Just sharing my experience.)That aside, I haven't assembled the Gundam yet, but everything appears to be in good condition. The pieces are just as vibrant as they are in the photo and the kit comes with all the decals and accessories depicted on the box. (Note: it will look slightly different when assembled in the respect that the preview photo shows a finished Gundam that has been touched up; there are thin-tipped markers you can buy separately to fill in the grooves between parts, making it look more authentic.) I'm still somewhat of a novice when it comes to Gundam, but I can tell you this will look nice on your shelf when it's assembled and won't take up much time or space (1-3 hours maybe, depending on how quick you are).I would definitely recommend getting this through Amazon if you can; after seeing this on display at a Gundam warehouse (and having the man laugh when I asked if it was for sale), I quickly learned that these 7-11 Gundam kits were released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of 7-11 in Japan (7-11 is kind of a big deal there) and aren't always cheap (or available) on eBay. The norm seems to be $50-70 and upwards there, but I got mine for around $25 and free shipping here, so keep an eye on the prices--they may fluctuate from time to time. From my understanding, there are also two color versions of this particular Gundam (one having a maroon/burgundy accent on the shield and chestplate--the GFT version, not the G30th depicted here), so just be mindful of the subtle differences if you're someone who collects and/or builds these habitually. I know that the transportation may have some crash but box still ok, and gundam its all in plastic, but i compare it with another gundam that i bought the same time ,so should be more packaging before send itAnyway it's ok
