Flexfit Hat

Perfect hat. I saw some complaints, let me try to help others with size explanations. There are 2 basic types of flexfit hats, the low profile hats, and the regular (not including the flat bill caps). The regular hats have a higher forehead and longer sides, great for those with short, stout heads, and low or small ears. The low profile hats have a shorter forehead that will touch the top of your head and shorter sides. This design works better for those with longer heads and higher or bigger ears. My head is longer and I have bigger ears, so this hat fits me better than a regular hat. A regular hat will dip so low that it rides on my ears where they meet my head, and a low pro hat can be worn all the way on without it touching my ears. All a matter of perspective and preference, but as far as quality, flexfit is great.

Like many other reviewers have stated the hat comes in a plastic bag and was smashed into my mail box. The "Permacurve" bill is not resilient to this type of packaging. However, my main issue with this hat is that the elastic band inside has a raised stitching that says "FLEXFIT". It may be dumb luck but that stitching lines up perfectly on my forehead. The raised stitching makes that contact point uneven and extremely itchy. I am going to try washing it with copious amounts of fabric softener to see if it will relax it a bit. The rest of the hat seems like it is made well although the color does look like it will fade very fast.

Ok for amazon I am a prime member this hats I order two of them both are prim were I get it in two days. One came in in two days and the other from the same place they shipped separate I don’t know why I get in 7 days. (Why) this is why I am canceling my prime membership you guys don’t do what you promise to do , I got tired of this crap.Ok the hat that I got fits a little on the tight side but I can make it work. I think if I got the next side up it would be to big but still it’s a good hat I do like the flex fit hats you can’t get a better one.

I think I'm just really picky with hats these days. I can't seem to find a traditional ball cap that's low profile and unstructured enough. This one is thicker on the front two panels and still sticks up above the crown of my head and folds strangely. This hat works just fine, but I'm still looking for the best hat. Perhaps I've got an odd shaped head.

I gave it 4 stars because it was like 9 bucks. It fit as a low profile hat should, i didn't like how it was shipped flat, or how the front of the hat (just above the brim.. front crown area) isn't sturdy enough not to wrinkle. I bought 3 colors, 1 of the three was sturdy enough to hold shape(loden). The white ones wrinkling is very noticable, the black one wrinkled, just couldn't notice it unless you were looking for it. It's getting hard to find quality low profile fitted hats anymore, everyone wants the flat brim now adays.

I love this cap and I really like the garment washed finish. I can't understand the complaints about it being faded, or worn looking. Obviously, people don't know what "garment washed" means. As far as the fit, it's spot on for me, however, if you have a different shape of head (meaning your head is quite full at the crown), it may not come down far enough for you. Just depends on the shape of your individual head.

As a slim 5'4" guy, it's difficult to find clothing that fits properly. The trend seems to be sizing everything on the baggy side. I'm pretty sure pants are all the same leg cuts, just with a smaller waistband. I wind up looking like MC Hammer. This has been true of hats, as well. They're always huge on my head, resting on my ears, but still sticking up above the crown of my head.But these fit like a glove. The low rise S/M Flexfit is the only hat that has ever fit me properly, and it doesn't even have an adjustable thing on the back. It's literally a perfect fit.The only issue is, they only make it in 97% cotton. It fades like crazy, and I sweat stain these in about a week. I've searched multiple times for a cotton/poly blend in this model, but could never find it on Amazon. I resorted to calling the company today, and I can't find it because they simply don't make one.With all the crazy designs, sizes, colors and materials, this seems to be the one hole in Flexfit's lineup.

My husband needs a low profile fit and hates adjustable hats, so I was excited to find these. It fits him comfortably, but I'm bummed the color is not as shown. I purchased this to match a pair of distressed khaki toned denim jeans from Target for an upcoming family photo session. The color Loden looked like it would be a perfect match for the color and distressed texture. The hat I received is instead a solid tan with no texture and is a typical cotton fabric. Seems like a good quality hat, but not at all what I was looking for in terms of the color and fabric. In some lights it looks green as well, so I'm wondering if I was sent the Loden Green color by mistake.
