I received this item today. It took a little longer than I anticipated for shipping, but that's not really a big deal.It doesn't fit 100% perfectly, there's (probably) less than 1mm of movement up and down, but it doesn't affect the performance of the firearm. Installation was extremely easy (for the SD9VE), and there's plenty of instructions/videos online if you're having problems so I won't go into details here.The reason I deducted 1 star is because it isn't exactly like the picture, and it's slightly off-center. But otherwise, no real complaints.I'm looking forward to putting a few thousand rounds through my gun to see if it can stand up to the abuse. If, for whatever reason, it does break or degrade, I'll try to update this review.

The construction is quite good. The finish is also very nice and the colorization matches my pistol closely. The engraving is crip and sharp but not very “deep”. I’m used to being able to feel a good laser engraving but this barely has a texture and at first almost seemed like a decal. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to symmetry and the design was ever so slightly off (canted if you will) but not enough to complain. Overall, I’m happy with it and would buy again if the opportunity presented itself.

Definitely did not fit my Smith and Wesson SD40 slide. Took me about 10 minutes with a hand file to make it work. It slid in well, but would not let the striker retainer sleeve lock it in place. I ended up removing too much material from the top, and now I need to paint over the bare metal to protect it. However, it looks great. And it feels a lot more reliable than the stock polymer one. It has a surprising amount of detail for such a small graphic on a small part. I will probably be purchasing another one to see if I can get a better fit with the new slide I have coming.

I've dealt with N.D.Z. to accesorize a few of my firearms. As always it is built exactly to spec (if it doesn't look spec.it's because they beefed up that area. It will not effect operations ). It slides in easily installs in seconds. Not only have I installed them. I've also inspected for binding/marring after operations. There is none. Other than normal seating/wear marks. These people make quality gear. And it shows in the construction and precision of there product.

Bought the rear plate with US Flag and Army, since there are not many upgrades for the SD9VE. This is a nice simple, easy to install customization. Highly Recommend!!!

Nice product. Honestly a touch smaller than stock SD9 plate. Exposes more to dust and dirt. Hopefully in the future they will correct the bottom cuts.Also the print at the edges due I suppose to shape is a tad feint I clear coated mine to help it pop. It matches my mag base. Like it much better than the plastic and tin it replaced.

Easily the best quick little personalization to my fire arm I’ve ever purchased. Very happy with this and it looks great. I’ll continue to buy and install these back plates onto any other pistols I acquire.

Great product love the scripture only problem while cleaning it whiteness of engraving faded but still can see it just not as bright over I would buy another for my other pistol.

Awesome little back plate! Bought the one with the maple leaf design for my SD9VE. Perfect fit and took literally less than a minute to install. They have hundreds of different designs to choose from as well. NDZ makes a quality product.
