Great product gets the job done
This is a great product for the price, it’s easy to pump , and holds pressure for a long period of time the mist setting holds the longest out of any other pump mist sprayer bottle I’ve used in the past the bottle is great quality so no need to worry about the plastic blowing out from pumping too much pressure. I’ve had other cheaper mister blow out the plastic bottle when I pumped it to many times. This one I don’t see happening the plastic bottle is thick and of good quality. I highly recommend this mister you won’t find one better at the price they are selling these at

Great as a pre-soak applicator for rinseless car wash.
Purchased this to use as a rinseless wash (pre-soak) in my garage. it worked great. I dialed in a fine spay that covered the entire car, getting it just wet enough. Let it sit for a few minutes, then followed with microfiber towels in bucket of diluted rinseless wash, rung out to just barely dripping. Dried with plush microfiber towel. No big mess in garage and a nice clean car. A great way to wash your car, regardless of weather. And easy on your paint.

Better than harbor freight pump sprayer
This thing works really well. The spray is consistent. I used it for spraying pesticide and with the nozzle I was able to target some insects a couple feet away from me no problem. Actually very impressed with this pump sprayer. It's better than the one I got at harbor freight.

Trim the water intake hose!!
A good sprayer. My last one lasted 6 years until the trigger broke. This year’s model lasted one week. The problem is that the water intake tube is too long. My initial thought was no problem. But the water tube rubs on the bottom of the container, straining the water tube attachment point until it cracked, causing the sprayer to put out mostly air.So if this describes your sprayer I recommend shortening the intake hose so it turns freely. The picture highlights whe water intake attachment which cracked under the strain.Company help was good but no way to repair the cracked attachment point.

Chapin 1002 48-Ounce Hand Sprayer is a totally pathetic sprayer
I purchased 2 32oz professional spray bottles from Home Depot. I cannot remember the name of the 2nd one which I gave to a relative who stopped by but I remember what it looked like when I go back to Home Depot tomorrow.I will buy another one and another Zep.ProsI compared all 3 bottles including this POS thing to see how far they would spray. This chapin won but only for a few sprays and then it abruptly started spraying as far as the 2 spray bottles and less then the 2 spray bottles as it lost steam and had to be re-pumped.Cons1. For the number of FAR sprays you get before it peters out and needs re-pumping...it is definitely not worth it.2. I used it for 2 days and the tip flew off somewhere probably in the attic. I never had any of my spray bottle tips have that happen. I didn't notice the tip was missing and when I went to spray next, it sprayed out all over me and around. Since I was spraying a pesticide, I didn't need that.3. If you don't hold it exactly upright, the liquid in the container spills out the top all over your hands. What a complete waste of money this product was.Buy at Home Depot the Zep high output chemical sprayer 32oz with the BLACK sprayer top and BLACK lettering item code number 0 21709 02229 2 . It works great. Doesn't gum up. Sprays very far consistently in stream mode (but has other settings), never loses its nozzle tip , works great for putting pesticides in and zapping the underside of eaves to get wasp nests. BONUS: Black lettering and black top to me means WARNING and if you use pesticides or heavy duty cleaning products, you will know to never use this bottle for anything else.

Feel like a pro vs lame with a trigger spray bottle.
Comments about the Chaplin not seen as I looked at other reviews before buying this one:1) Sufficiently sturdy ALL plastic construction. I think this will also work to store the mixture in between uses. For convenience, I like to keep the unused portion of pre-mixed chemicals (herbicides & insecticides) in the sprayer bottle and ready to go. Plastic is highly corrosion resistant so I feel I won’t need to empty and rinse this unit like those with a brass nozzle or steel plunger after every use. To relieve pressure for storage, hold the sprayer horizontal, nozzle pointed away, depress trigger. Air will be released. if needed, trigger valve and spray nozzle can be easily removed for cleaning.2) This is a good size. Generally it is better to select a larger size ‘bottle’ than the rated fluid capacity or what you expect to need. This is because fluid is not compressible and when full, most containers leave very little air space to hold the pumped pressure needed to push the fluid out. The result is the bottle losses pressure quickly and requires re-pumping. Filling a larger container 1/2 or 3/4 full provides a much larger pressure reserve and gives you more fine misting between stoppages to pump.3) Found when the trigger is depressed a small droplet or two is initially produced along with the mist. The size seems to vary with how quickly the trigger is pushed; a fast push/smaller, slower push/larger droplet. This may occur on all brands of sprayers but requires notice.4) Received the unit from Amazon packaged in only a padded envelope; no box. Apparently USPS did a good job as the the piece was undamaged and works fine...actually better than fine. I feel like a real pro and now find I’m looking for things to spray since the ol’ junior league squirt squirt bottle has been retired. Maybe just a guy thing.

Easy to operate and convenient
This makes it so much easier to apply cleaning solutions around the house. Instead of my old hands having to pull the trigger of a spray bottle endlessly to apply a cleaner to my tub, shower stall, sinks, etc., I just give this a few pumps, adjust the nozzle for whatever stream I want and spray away. I even use it to apply floor cleaner when I run my spin mop, because I can apply it easily to a large area. I’ve used it outside as well to spray cleaner on areas of my gutters, windows, soffit and facia (1 story, about 7’). It would be a bit much to do the whole house, but it’s ideal for spot cleaning. So far the sprayer itself has held up well.
