MEDALS OF AMERICA EST. 1976 Cold War Commemorative Medal Anodized

I like the medal as it is a reminder of my time in the U.S. Army. I will add it to my collection of artifacts from that period.

I bought this for my son as a birthday present (US Army Vet) and he really likes it. Says it has the same look and feel as our official medals that are issued from the various Services/DOD. Now I'm thinking about getting one for my older brother that served in the USAF in the late 50's. Now.....in my humble opinion I think the DOD should issue these medals to ALL Vets who served during the Cold War years with an included Certificate with the members information, just like we receive with our other medals.

Just the perfect addition to a shadow box.

To me it's a shame that we Cold War vets have to pay for these medals ourselves.. Other wise, I am very with this product. I was stationed in Germany; February 1960-July 1963....

Based on the add we placed and order anticipating delivery of a medal and ribbon. Evidently it is only a ribbon. Be careful of there verbiage. We could have purchased the same medal much cheaper on eBay. If I could do zero stars I would.
