Q: Is there a odor after washing ?

No odor after washing for me. Love these shirts.

Q: Can these be printed on with a custom logo. If so, what kind of printing works best due to the stretchiness....

embroidery is perfect! I would not go for plastic printing of sort since it is polyester/synthetic but a great quality and fit.

Q: What are the dimensions of the pocket? Will it hold a standard size smartphone?

Not sure of exact dimensions but mine holds an iPhone 7 and my wallet with no problem. Zipper has about a 4 inch opening
