LEGOFriends Emma's Sports Car

This Lego building set was so fun to build! As a girl growing up, I was not allowed to touch my brother's Legos. It just wasn't something a girl was supposed to do. But my granddaughter wanted Lego Friends for her birthday so I bought it. She herself did not want to build the set - just play with it, so I set out to build it for her. My childhood dream came true! I thoroughly enjoyed building the set!Not only did I have fun building the set, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had all the parts necessary to build each part shown in the diagram--something that was not available in the first set I bought for her (set 5560). In that set, I had to deconstruct one set in order to build another set.My granddaughter loves to play with this little car and all the accessory constructs that came with the kit. Lego - you outdid yourself!

This was a present for my 3-year old girl. We course had to help her put it together, but she's been around Lego all her life so we felt it would be fine for her to grow into. This set comes with many nice details: camera, pet cat, sandwich, backpack, etc.My only complaint for this set is the the Lego figurine. This newer style feels cheap. The legs do not move independently of each other. I would have preferred the classic Lego figures over this one. We also have an older boy. Between the two of them, our Lego purchases are sure to grow, however I will steer clear of sets that feature figures like the one in this set.

For about $12 this was a good addition to the collection. It came with Emma, the car parts, a camera, road signs, a cat and a travel bag. It didnt take too long to put together (if you kids are still of the age they want help) but it was long enough to keep my 7 yr old busy putting the car alone together for an hour or so. There are a lot of pieces that will go together with other friends kits. If you happen to be new to the Lego thing, I should add that this kit is a pretty decent value and a useable stand alone kit but also a nice addition to the bigger sets. We have tried other brands (megablocks, character building, etc) but saving a buck always leads to dissapointment in quality.

Got this for my young cousin who is five and gave it to her yesterday for Christmas. Lego has done great things with their directions, but even though this says 5-12, I think it would be better for an 8 or 9 - 12 year old to put together. My cousin try to take charge of the constructions but was overwhelmed by all the small pieces that work as the headlights. She also was impatient to just get her car. and picnic bench. Ultimately she loved playing with it, but she did need some help getting it together.Five stars is for the product itself, and the purchase from the vendor. Arrived quickly, no issues with payment, packages well, no complaints.

This kit was my five-year-old daughter's first Lego set ever, so I had to show her how to read the picture directions and orient her project the same direction as the picture, and how to count dots on Legos to make sure she had the right piece going into the right place. After that she built this herself and she was so pleased with it, and herself! She says it is "soooo cute!" She was surprised at how tiny it turned out but I think she really likes the tiny size. It is sturdy and stays together well.

Our granddaughter wanted this set for Christmas. We bought it but felt it was a bit expensive. She absolutely loves this set and plays with it all the time. These sets always seem expensive, but then they do last for years and years--proof is that we have her mother's legos from 30 years ago! Guess it is a good value since our granddaughter is extremely happy.

Lego Friends are our new favorite toys to play with in our house and this cars is awesome. Easy to put together ( well it is Lego, so you need to take your time ) and sturdy. Kids love to play with this one. Lego is pricy but an amazing choice of toys and this is a great thing for girls.

The details in this product will spur the imagination. The car is lots of fun, but it is all the little extras that make this a set that will continue to inspire play over time. Lots to do, lots of fun. LEGO toys provide great value for money. And, if you have an American girl fan in the family, the Friends series of LEGO sets are just the right scale for the dolls, and their owners to enjoy.

Great car for a little girl to put together and look as cool as big brother. Easy for a 6 year old to do with a bit of help and encouragement. The kitty was of course the best piece in the box.

LEGO Friends Emma's Sports Car -- All I can say is my niece loved it, and is still playing with it, so that's a hit gift right there!

How can you not love Lego, especially girl Lego. Girl friendly encourages reading, building and imagination. My six year loves these and can easily build them on her own.

Received in plenty of time for Christmas. It was what my daughter had wanted. Our kids will sit for hours playing with their lego friends.

For the price, I was expecting more
