Old, but solid
Older publication than I anticipated. Good stuff and wise information though redundant in itself. Been a few weeks since I read, if I remember correctly he is a proponent of grains and animal livers, which aren't my thing otherwise good protocol. Grains have phytic acid which reduce nutrient uptake so I go with sprouted when possible or fresh water wild rice (which really isn't a rice). Animal livers...if the animal is even healthy is high in vitamin A and kids can od on Vitamin A...if I remember correctly the author covers that.

Life changing! Dr recommended. Every new mother needs this book. Saved my son from surgery!
I was given this book by a doctor. It changed our lives! My son had severe ear infections and needed surgery to put tubes in his ears. But after reading and implimenting the lifestyle and diet changes in this book he no longer needed surgery and no more earaches!I now give this book to every new mother!

AWESOME!
I read this book for myself as an adult because I suffer from many auto-immune issues. This book explained why I have current health issues even going back as far as my childhood. Since following the advice in this book, most of my health issues have been resolved and I feel much better about ensuring that my future children have super immunity. This book is easy to read and covers everything from allergies/asthma to auto-immune disorders to autism. This book is highly beneficial for anyone with children or have their own health issues

a good reference tool for child nutrition
This book was recommended to me by a friend, and I really like it. I have used it to change the way I feed my child, and myself.I have noticed a significant difference in my 18 month old son's health verses other children his age. He has never had an ear infection and his colds don't amount to much. But I am also making these changes for his future healthy immune system as well.I refer to this book often, it's not a one time read. It also has recipes that incorporate the healthy foods that they recommend you feed your kids.I also like the book, because it's not a weird "guru-type" nutrition book. These ideas for a healthy immune system are just a healthy lifestyle for EVERYONE...not just the "health food nut". This book is a good reference tool if you are interested in making a change in your child's overall health and well being.

The author suggests giving your children fluoride. Really??? We threw it away the day we got it. Do not waste your money on this book.

Nutrition important to learning.
I've just skimmed through this book. It looks like a winner for reference and for daily use. This was recommended by another program I'm using Dianne Craft for learning issues in children. Proper nutrition plays a very important part!

Great book for both parents and parents to be!
Taught me so much about immunity and kids from this book. I constantly refer back to it. Great buy! Lots of tips and advice. I only wish more doctors shared this point of view.

Great Book!
This is one of the best books I have ever had about staying healthy. No parent should be without it. This walks you thru from pregnancy to 17 years of age the correct supplements needed by the body. I refer to this often.
